It would be nice if Pac takes the test or them meeting halfway. Plus, if it is $40M purse between them:

The winner gets $35M, and the loser $5M, but both gets 50/50 on the revenue. Still a lot of money for both considering the ppv share each will get.

I'm sure Floyd would be eager to take this as he is very confident of winning.

actually, Floyd would've turned that down right from the first point.

    no doubt about it.

Both sides seem like they would turn down the first point. Floyd is insisent on blood testing and Arum claims Pacquiao will only submit to drug testing required by the commission. I don't think either party would listen to these suggestions, but I believe it's a fair solution.

If they can't agree on a contract again, let an arbitrator settle it, not a mediator.

I think Pacquiao is most likely in a lose lose situation now, due to his camp, and mainly Bob Arum. The drug accusations won't go away until Pacquiao agrees to some sort of drug/blood testing. If they agree to the 14 day cut-off for the blood testing, they have had to cave into Mayweather's demands, Floyd gets what he wants.
But if somehow both camps agree to have no form of blood testing in the run up to the fight (which I highly doubt), or Pacquiao's camp don't agree to the demands and walk away from the negotiations, the accusations will still surround Manny.

Mayweather isn't going to budge on his demands, so Manny has to either agree to the 14 day cut-off, or try to negotiate the 20-24 day cut-off before the fight to save his reputation. In my opinion anyway.

So JCC, Jr. is allowed to fight in the undercard?

    1. Deal is off

    2. Why even a penalty? Roach made it clear. Overweight penalty of $10 million or $2 million doesn't make a difference. If Floyd is overweight, the fight is off.

    3. Floyd will only fight in Vegas. Again, deal is off.

    4. No argument on 50-50 split.

    5. Not sure what you mean by top billing. Because he older? LOL!

    6. It's been always like that.

right, i just had a long look through this post and i have a couple of questions because i am a bitr confused with some things....

    This content is protected
about tommy morrisson admiting to using steroids, you say tommy morrisson could easily cycle on and off coming up to the known test date. Doesnt this give a bit of a clue as to why Pacquiao would want to have the random testing stop at a certain point?

    This content is protected
about the cream, the clear and EPO, you say that all of these can be detected via urinalysis. mosley took plenty of urine tests during his training and nothing was ever detected. are u saying that this is because you can time exactly when your taking them so that you dont get a dirty test? if this is what you are saying, how could mosley have timed it if he didnt know he was taking them? Theres probably a reason to this that i am not aware of so could you shead somelight on this?

    This content is protected
and is not detectable, is it possible for pacquiao to start taking this inside 24 days to the fight and it will have a positive effect on his stamina or strength or could it boost his adrenalin? i know nothing about steroids

    This content is protected
, you say ''great, now how do these steroids get used and not show up in random urine tests? unaddressed'' Perhaps you could address this for us, unless you already have and im just being ignorant? :D

    This content is protected
about a ******* saying ''manny doesnt need random blood testing if he has already agreed to have a test 24 days before the fight and immediately after the fight''. I have actually heared this quote many times to be honest. it seems to eb a regular argument for pacquiao fans. Also, if u are using testosterone, can this be detected immediately after a fight as unusual?

. manny fought marquez @ his natural super featherweight. he did not change his weight coming up to this fight, yet 3 months later, having put on 5lbs and stepping up to lightweight, he looks a faster, stronger and fitter fighter against david diaz.

    This content is protected
about people believing manny lost to morales because he didnt use his precious PED's. I dont believe this, but what gets me is that manny has moved up 3 weight divisions since then, thats 17lbs, and hes fiter stronger AND FASTER than he ever was. I just dont understand it.

    ....................................

i bet u answer these without even thinking about it but im interested anyway :good

    thanks!!

    both fighters should agree to

    1. both fighters should take MASSIVE steroids before the fight

    2. both fighters get 2% of the cash and the rest goes to charity

    3. the fight should be held in the north pole in a phone box.

    there... fights on!! :lol::lol::lol:

they alrady agreed on 2-6- so no mediation on that needed. if you demanded 1 to go ahead then may would walk out- simple as that...

    try harder..

the solution lies not in any hard and fast enforced rules, but in compromise. they already agreed to give blood - just not on the cutoff date. they need to meet halway on the cutoff- then things can go ahead.

all the other ****- as someone said, 2-6, is academic.

All good points. Sensible stuff. If only they'd take heed.

No. The Ring Pound-for-Pound World Number 1 has to take top billing, obviously. Mayweather is fighting to take that crown from him, he is the challenger here.

I say either every thing is up for compromise or nothing should be up for compromise. If Pacquiao wants his special weight penalty and his 8oz gloves instead of 10oz gloves(which are the standard) then he should be willing to agree to random blood testing up until 48 hours before the fight, especially since one of his demands only affects Mayweather and not himself.

But If Pacquiao can't do the blood testing than everything else should be off the table, so no 8oz gloves, no weight penalty, no requesting a special referee or anything of the sort. It should be commission standards, that is it. As for the split, take a look at the numbers for each guys last 5 PPVs and do the math.
