Tell me again, who is the UFC HW champion now? Could it be a former pro wrestler? Yeah, it's hard to make into this sport. Boxing is surely doomed as every redneck youngin now feels he has a chance of "making it" into UFC.
The usual wankfest. Now that JT and Ray are in the UFC they need to talk nice about the "sport". Gotta get paid son.
Toney seems serious about transitioning into MMA and I could respect that. As a soon to be boxer I like MMA at the same time and have been following it since 2007. I love boxing more of course but ya have to respect what these MMA fighters do. All in all, RJJ don't go into MMA esp. after Anderson Silva I like you and all but he'll kill you.
Alright then. You really have nothing to add to this discussion beyond what you've already said so thanks for the contribution and please feel free to move on to another thread.
Pretty funny stuff. Toney is still sharp and still humorous. It's a shame he is so disillusioned about MMA, because he is going to get badly hurt there.
James sounds like he knows nothing about MMA... I hope this is untrue considering the fact that he's about to embark into the sport..
This is so frustrating for Toney fans, I mean why is he wasting the little time he has left with MMA? He should try and get a couple decent wins at HW instead, maybe a last run for a title - the last years have been quite meager in that regard. The excuse that he doesn't get a meaningful fight simply doesn't hold any longer - Tony Thompson has called him out, and that's a good opportunity for Toney to show if he still has any business in the HW division. He should turn his mind to a fight with Tony Thompson instead of Fedor and that MMA stuff.
I love the tendency of some to view mma fighters like unhurtable, mythical gods. T.S..... you make me smile.
Why Thank You Columbo :good I don't recall referring to any MMA fighter as an "Unhurtable God" :-( If Toney ever fights Fedor in an MMA match I'm sure you are free to bet on Toney and lose your money :smoke
