Why the **** would he be fighting Macklin?, Macklin couldn't make 154 :-(

JM may have been weight drained and gassed (I don't buy it) but the shot that put him down the first time Rhodes had been looking for and trying all fight...dip under the left hand and a right hand hammer over the top. I have no real reason to doubt Moorseys word, but the KD was ****ing savage and the way he went down in stages suggested to me that he wasn't getting up...but then he climbed off the canvas and went at Rhodes like a lion, not the actions of a man who was either drained or gassing.

It gets my vote. ****ing awesome fight. Thought you could have taken it but hey thats boxing. Plenty fights out there for you get in contention again. Would love to see Macklin II.

Someone earlier in teh thread mentioned originality Dan! I can take it away becos people like always in this country heavily hype people and then hate when they get exposed and i think we should all chill with rhodes cos he aint gonna be a world champ and hes extremely lucky to of won the european belt!

It would possibly have gotten my vote for fight of the year if it hadn't have been for Anthony Small vs Thomas McDonagh.

could you not have stayed at 154 for one more fight and put the Brit Forum (and the rest of the world) at peace by ending Small ?
