Cotto landed clean shots, Manny wasn't too fussed.

I'm not gonna say that's a stupid response, but I don't think he does.

Pac said he was hurt. He just didn't show it to Cotto so Cotto would think Pac's indestructible.

Manny would let Floyd know if he's hurt then? Ok.

No I definately see why you would make that comparison, as I too have looked at it in a similar way. You can imagine the first half of the fight being competitive, with Pac having a little success of catching up and landing a few shots here and there. This however will drop the later the fight goes on, as FLoyd will simply have figured Pac out by then.

However in regards to Floyd letting loose against aggressive fighters, I honestly haven't seen him do this since Gatti I think? And I really don't think we will ever see him do this again. In Juan Manuel Marquez, he had a small, slow, powerless, aged fighter standing before him. Yet he couldn't commit himself to throwing combos, and going for the knockout.

So against aggressive fighters (eg Pac and Mosley), he'll definately be his cautious self

Yeah but im saying easy to hit aggressive fighters...because their aggressiveness forces him to have to hit back and once he starts landing repeatedly and they stay coming foward he lets go...last i saw this was in the hatton fight and before that it was the second half of the judah fight.....

If you don't force floyd to fight he wont fight because his style is designed to not waste punches or energy

P.S. Floyd in some interview i just read said that pacs performance against clottey just exposed pac as being one-dimensional.....I agree

but he also said in this interview that the fight was boring and you will never get a boring fight like that from him...I totally disagree because Pac has a lot more action and competitive fights...Where as FLoyd has some one-sided boring fights under his belts...One of them is the baldomir fight WOW you cant get more boring than that floyd

Man I hope so....but I don't expect Shane to bring the fight to floyd....I expect him to try and prove he is faster than floyd and try to outbox him..

Yes but people can make the exact same arguement for Pac that Floyd has never faced someone with the speed, power, stamina and footwork of Pac so how do we no that he will be able to deal with that? While the points you made are also very valid points to make for Floyd winning.
