best post of the thread. There is nothing about this post which doesnt make sense which is why no one has posted a reponse to try and refute anything you said. :good

all i will add is that since pac fought JMM he has yet to fight an active counter puncher boxer. DLH did **** all, Hatton was simply not a very good boxer at all, Cotto tried towards the end of the fight but thats simply not the style that got his name out there and as usual his brawling instinct screwed him over. Clottey didnt do ****, layed behind his guard all night but even when he did try and counter he caught pac. Pac having supposedly evolved since the last JMM simply cant be supported until he fights an intelligent boxer in the same league as JMM and guess what, Floyd is miles ahead of JMM in terms of technique, timing, counter punching and all around boxing ability.

pac will pose a certain threat to mayweather but still Floyd UD PAC

I stopped reading after "stuck in the mud like Cotto." Cotto was running around that ring like a hooker...

  3. once manny starts getting countered to ****, his output is gonna slow down dramatically. Probably down to 0 punchs per round as he is gonna get knocked the **** out.

its not going to be easy for Floyd with his style to counter Manny due to Mannys south paw style it took Floyd the first 6 rounds to figure out Zab Judah, if it takes him that long to figure out Manny, the damage would have already been done.

THAT IS TRUE...THE MAJORITY OF CASUAL FANS LIKE FLOYD TO WIN IT AND I DO TOO..THAN AGAIN EVERY FAN THOUGHT TYSON WOULD RUN THROUGH DOUGLAS AND LOOK WHAT HAPPENED:think

  6. There are different types of southpaw styles just like there are different types of orthodox styles mu****a. Judah is more of a slickster and was able to beat floyd to the counters. Pac is a relentless puncher but doesn have the ring IQ of floyd and therefore would get countered to peaces. Pac doesn't know how to stop punching the same way, theres no dimensions to his style.

  7. yea well douglass wasn't nearly as dickriden as pac.

What? Will Mayweather be able to sustain the pace? Manny was wide open to uppercuts, jabs, and lead rights. The more often you hit a guy the more cautious he becomes because his mistakes cause him to get hit. So to answer your question Manny won't be on Mayweather after about the 4th-6th round.

Next, Manny can take punches? Please. His face was swollen up in his last two lopsided wins. Clottey rocked him. He will be getting hit cleanly and I am now positive his face will be split open against Mayweather. Hell he may not even go the distance.

Manny will be playing catch up and getting punched in the face trying to make up the difference.

That is because nobody was looking outside of the ring. Tyson was in a state of chaos. Then in Japan? An athletic celebrity? I am surprised he didn't come in a cruiserweight due to protien loss. Buster Douglas was also a beast... when he trained.

I find that Team Pac ALWAYS picks guys whose out of ring situation is in chaos.

Na, he's more like a double end bag. Bit more tricky.

Yeah and Mayweather doesn't throw combinations, so whats your point.

Pac will be too much for Floyd. Look at the success Zab Judah and Corley had. Multiply that by about 100.

Mayweather is too passive, doesn't hit harder enough, doesn't throw enough. That's the bottom line. He's a great counterpuncher, but not so much against southpaws. He's always fought aggressively to beat southpaws.

And Paquiao is 10x the fighter he was when he fought JMM, no question.

Yeah CASUAL fans like Mayweather to win, that's becuase they don't know boxing that well. If you've seen Floyd fight southpaws before you'd have a different perspective. And if you understood all the intangibles and other factors in this fight you'd have a different perspective.

1st, I got your mu****a right here~ Pac is more slick than Judah is and thats a fact, what has Judah done that was so ****ing special? other than lossing in every major step up fight he has had?:think get real Pacquiao just dominated two fighters that Judah got his ass whipped by.

if the Mayweather fight comes off I hope your still around, I am sure Neckbreakinakein has taken some time off from the forum after he owned himself in posting that shitty thread saying Clottey is going to school Manny

:deal yeah lets be real, Manny just made Cotto, DLH, Hatton and Clottey look B level. He would dispatch Judah out of the ring in a few rounds, and eat Corley up like white rice. He's on a completely different level then anything Floyd has ever dealt with. Honestly, I don't believe Floyd has the balls or the toughness to hang with Manny.

Also about the combinations... Combination punching can be overrated. Yeah it works great when a guy is over matched, not fleet footed, and/or hurt, but against a guy like Mayweather throwing a volume of punches is pointless. He will be gone. Timing is what counts and Pac is not a master of it, though he did it well against Cotto.

I think you are way off base about the southpaws. Man who are the southpaws you are using for examples? Corely and Judah? Both guys prime were faster and slicker (feints and timing) than Pac will ever be. They could stand in the pocket using feints, traps, and fast hands. Pac has NO slickness to his attack.
