I understand what you are saying, but giving a greeting to other Muslims is different than quoting verses from religious books. Anyway, no harm, no foul.

The commentators aren't supposed to be fighters, though. The trash talk and biased crap is supposed to be left at the door, let alone ignorant statements attacking a specific religion. Lampley is awful even if we disregard that moment -- he usually just points out the obvious or goes into a cheerleading routine for his favourite fighters. I'm baffled as to why he's still there, really.

 

Okay, but would you rather be stuck with Kellerman? I have heard Larry Merchant say real racist stuff and haven't seen half as many complaints about him.

If Hamed or anyone else doesn't want their religious beliefs mentioned then they shouldn't start with proclaiming theirs at the start of every interview. Not just Muslims but Christians too obviously always say how it's 'gods plan' for them to win etc but very very few mention god when they get their ass kicked.

They've stated exactly that so if it's gods doing that made them win its gods doing that made them lose. they shouldn't start crying when someone says the exact same **** that they do.
