    Bowe was the first guy to come to mind, even though he became the undisputed champion.

    Considering the power and skills he had, he had enough talent to be amongst the great heavyweights, but his head just was not quite right.:yep

    IKe Bazooka Quartey.

    The ultimate "what could have been" fighter. Quartey could have been a superstar but a mixture of stuff some his fault some not his fault went wrong for him. A few bad decisions went against him, and extremely long periods of inactivity caused by personal issues and dubious bussiness dealings stopped his career being what it could have been.

    Other names- Riddick Bowe, he just couldnt be arsed.
    Fernando Vargas, too much too soon.
    Junior Witter, definatly should have had a better career, didnt get the chances he deserved.

    And now Joshua Clottey- The physical attributes, and the technical ability is all there, but ALWAYS seems to find a way to lose a fight he could have won. Doesnt pull the trigger when it matters

    Ricardo Williams, Audely Harrison and Francisco Bojado come to mind - The Sydney Olympics were full of them - Good for Cotto, not so much these other three.

    Pacquiao

    Could of won titles at super flyweight, and bantamweight which would of made him a 9 division champion....oh what could of been.

    He could have done better at WW. Anyway, he still has time to prove himself at WW. The SSM fight is a step to the right direction.

    BUSTER DOUGLAS. The guy had everything but only ever put his mind and body into one fight (we all know which one). Not to say Tyson didn't take him too lightly but Buster had mad skills and potential.

    sorry mate but that is bollocks. I remember watching Douglas get battered by Tony Tucker a few years before the Tyson fight and if someone would have said he'd be the first man to beat Tyson they would have been laughed at.
    One of the biggest upsets in boxing history, how is that underachieving ?

    Read something real about Buster. He never trained half as hard for any of his other fights as he did for the Tyson bout (before or after). It wasn't a one punch wonder. He beat Tyson down for most of the fight, fair and square.
