I watched the fight in a club and I noticed that Clottey's corner was telling him that he was losing the fight. I noticed that Clottey was shaking his head as if not agreeing. I am not so sure if that was what he was not agreeing but he definitely was in disagreement with his corner. What exactly was the disagreement? I really was not able to follow what they were discussing during the round breaks.
Really? The Clottey was more ****ed up than I thought. He lost the fight already mentally even before the bell rang.
I saw that head shaking too. He did that everytime the corner poured water on his head. He probably felt uncomfortable with all that cold water being splashed on his face. I think that's just it, nothing more.
Nah when his corner told him he was behind and he was going to lose if he didn't let his hands go, he shook is head in disagreement (implying that he was not going to lose) lol
His trainer was telling him to throw more punches as they were landing whenever he did throw, but Clottey refused as that would have deviated from the script.
He certainly wasn't listening to his corner. His stupid ring entrance put him off his game, he was probably thinking all night "man i looked like a dick when coming to the ring".
i noticed that too. the timing couldnt have been worse. he's shaking water off his head as his corner is telling him to throw more and take chances
Yes, I believe that they were imploring him to punch more and take chances but he wanted to stick with his survival strategy.
