Surprised at everyone saying 'it needs to be a good card' - that's pretty irrelevant IMO. The London crowd will either turn out for Mitchell or they won't. 90% wouldn't have a clue about the other lads, except perhaps the Olympians.

Mitchell only has to turn up at a few West Ham games at half-time between now and then and that'll probably sell a few tickets.

Sky will have to play on the fact this could be fight of the year. Play the gladiator music and make it dramatic. Make Katsidis look some sort of beast and show them knocking guys out..there are avenues for this fight to sell well it's up to Sky and Frank to use them wisely.

Katsidis is an awesome TV fighter. That guy needs a decent promoter.

Totally agreed. Golden Boy really messed up with him imo. He's type of guy he will lose some and win some. He's a warrior and brings the heat like a Spartan Warrior does. I'm hoping to go and can't wait. His ring entrance will be good to watch he can work a crowd.

To be fair Katsidis should be an easy sell

:yep that's why i'm split of who i wanna win...he's what boxing should be about.
mix the opening of the first video with the second videos highlights and that type music and i'm sure people will look and think about this fight...people wanna see a fight and there gonna get one.

I think the fact that this fight is a dead cert war should attract fans. People will be talking about it at work, that will attract people. I think it will get a huge crowd. And the fight will be talked about for ages afterwards.

Katsidis is the new Gatti. With his Greek background and chiselled physique the whole "Spartan" theme goes very well because of his style. This has the potential to be a war. But i doubt Mitchell who does have a decent beard will stand and trade with him.

Spot on. What a fight that would be by the way!!!

Yeah i agree i see Mitchell trying to use the ring as much as he can and tie up when Micheal gets close...can he do that for 12 rounds..i'm not so sure.

I think that somewhere along the line Mitchell will get sucked into Katsidis' style of fight...I am expecting a war.

    :yep :good
No way a east end boy on the pitch of his heroes in front of a mad for it crowd is gonna back down if he gets caught or dragged into a war...Kevin is known for liking a tear up and i fear old habits die hard and he will eventually be dragged into Katsidis type fight.

I see this also. I know Mitchell indirectly through a couple of friends. He doesnt live to far from parents and lives on my old stomping ground. He had many gym wars down at the "Heathway" and was known for his gritty style. Theres going to be spots in that fight when he's going to have to get Katsidis respect. I imagine the fight will be much like the Johannsen fight which was also a cracking fight.
