Never mind, only slaggin ya. If what you say is true then there is a feast of boxing on May 15th. Andy Lee - RTE Mitchell v Katsidis - Sky Box Office Amir Khan v Pauli - ITV (allegedly)
Is Egan gonna get $100,000 a year if he turns professional. I dont think so:-(. This is a good deal for him and the other boys:deal
There spokesman said all the Irish lads were on the lesser of the three contracts...i dont know if that translates into to cash but he did say there was a bidding process and they could be fighting anywhere?? Do you know if it will be on Irish TV paddy
Thats what i was thinking.Dolphil would be mad to try go against a televised Peters promotion. It does mean a possible two shows that month if the put it back by a couple of weeks.
Why not match Lee with Gevor its the type of matchup Andy has been crying out for and would be a major step in the right direction if he won.
Thats €73k a year. Say this lasts 3 years, that totals €220k. Do I think Egan can make more than that in 3 years as a pro? **** yeah. Egan could match Bernard Dunne for general support because everyone knows who he is including non-boxing fans. He could fight 15 times in this time frame without taking a risk and (with the right support) headline or co-headline the O2 a couple of times
Yeah, thats the best case scenario, but 1 loss and that plan falls in a heap around him. 1 loss in the pro/am format means **** all, you still get paid and you carry on with the schedule, and you can still fight in the Olympics. Its a a no-brainer for Egan and co to join this.:deal
Highly doubt it Jonny There is a chance that the three irish lads will be on three different teams you dont see RTE buying rights to show the worlds which had a full team of irish lads so i doubt they will splash the cash for this Yeah Limerick show is on the same as a dolphil show unfortunately
