wasn't sure if he could or not. I suppose the situation would be slightly different if he was to fight someone not british
Well im pretty sure Magee would be up for it as well as it was his title tha he relinquished and was supposed to get first crack so im sure he wouldnt mind picking it up as well.
Ye i think Frank likes the Echo as a venue and has got a fair bit of Scouse talent to fill it just hope if this is made for the summer im not away
there is an article in the echo today saying smigga might have to have a little time out to let his eyes heal after the cuts, so summer might be the next time he is out. I get the feeling he will defend british one more time here as a tune up before going for euro, if he has got to have time out
Ye seen close up of cuts? ouch! He has been cut a fair bit past few contests so wouldnt be a bad idea tbh.
my mate at work knbows some1 who sells tickets from smigga. very reliable but early day for an exact date:good
Sept is good for me incidentally anybody have any thoughts as to where Paul rates p4p atm of Scouse fighters through the ages 15ish???
i think smigga would go looking to put pedal to the metal and fight at a good pace, but magee likes to fight at his own pace so it would either end in an early/mid ko to smith or the whole fight will be one big spoil imo. unless paul tries to box him and then we will see what pauls got against a good boxer.
Would like to see how Magee does hes been inactive change of trainer injuries Larsen fight isnt a good yardstick as Larsen obv past it with drugs etc though a good win nontheless away from home. But Smith would be a real test for Magee methinks at 36ish? has Magee still got it?
