Cotto simply made too many mistakes and became much too sloppy once he was behind.... and against Pac thats like trying to get out of quicksand, the more you struggle the faster you will sink. Cotto had a perfect gameplan right out of the gate, be patient, take what pac gives and use his jab and boxing ability, hes the one that got careless and a bit greedy in there and he paid the price.
Although I don't believe the weight had an effect on Cotto, I wouldn't expect his strength and conditioning coach to be eager to place the blame of the loss on Cotto's strength and conditioning.
THERE IS NO EXCUSE!!!!! No gameplan in the world of fantasies could've helped Cotto that night! He was simply beaten by a better fighter.
