It doesn't matter if it was self serving. It was. Just like requesting a purse split, venue, glove size, etc... The question is if it is REASONABLE. It was. :deal

ItÂ’s getting close to the date and no word on any drug testing protocols or dates or anything!

We're not even sure if there's really Olympic style random blood and urine testing all the way to the fight and right after the fight. Anybody know about the contract and what's stipulated there?

Common sense says that after requesting random blood tests with Pacman, he doesn't have a choice but to ask every other man the same from now on if he doesn't want to look hypocritical or phony....and if he didn't ask others to do blood tests from Pacman on, then he'd indirectly be saying that Pacquaio is truly juicing. With a defamation case going to court, he's gonna try to look like he wants to clean the sport...

It is not even an olympic standard or USADA standard testing to begin with.

The WADA or USADA has out of season testing, which means they test athletes during the lull in sports activity where doping especially steroids is beneficial.

If you are only testing during the training period, then it is not effective as a steroid, which need months for it to be effective in building up muscles, or EPO which does not immediately increase your red blood cells, won't give you immediate benefits.

It is not like you take it now then 2-3 weeks from now, your muscles or strength, or blood red cells immediately increase.

The most that they can catch is actually someone who is taking diuretics either as a tool to make weight or as a tool to flush out remaining very small amounts of PEDS in the body.

Testing only during the training period is not olympic style testing!!!!

    :rofl:rofl

the reason I made this thread is because floyd's proposal is bogus

imagine, the fight is getting closer and still no update?

and all of these flhomos who have pHD in endocrinology and pharmacology are

so precise in cycling and scheduling of steroids, they must have known by

now that mosley is doing his cycling already and floyd injeting his xylocaine

since there is no random testing.

I wont be surprised if we wont hear any news :deal

I wouldn't be surprised either, since they're under no obligation to disclose any testing done since it's merely a private contractual agreement between two boxers. Outside of the Floyd/Pac fiasco, the only time you EVER heard about a fighter taking a test was after he failed it. Why would this be any different?

For starters, let us enumerate the difference :

    1. It is not the NSAC who is doing the test, but an unnamed one as USADA did not even agree to do it. USADA does not have jurisdiction over professional sports, so it does not have the power to dip its toes into this matter.

    2. This is not the usual NSAC test where you only take a couple of test, but rather multiple random ones.

    3. With so much hoopla over the doping testing, would you think they would let this go under the radar, and be looked upon as hypocrites.

The entire thing is different from the usual protocol, so you expect that there should be announcements.
