    Actually.

Winky backed out of the contract after Arum (Floyds promoter at the time) changed something to do with money in the contract.

Get your facts straight. For once.

    No thanks.

    I don't need a link to a bloggers opinion.

Probably the same source you have for Xylocaines banned in 49 states without any proof guy!

    Arum changed the contract.

    Floyd didn't refuse.

Even Shaw agrees, Arum was the problem.

I give you the benefit of the doubt, but who knows, you could just be lying for your man. :good

    This is what I have.

    excerpt:

For those needing a brief history lesson - it was in late June of 2005 and Mayweather had just looked sensational in stopping the late Arturo Gatti. Shortly after fighting Gatti, Mayweather issued a challenge to Winky Wright who defeated Felix Trinidad a month earlier after beating Shane Mosley in their rematch in November of 2004. At that time I wrote for another entity and said Mayweather was just trying to get attention and had no intention of ever fighting Wright. None whatsoever. Stating that Floyd would get out of the fight by making outrageous demands that Wright would never accept. Only Mayweather was wrong and Wright did accept his terms knowing he'd do exactly to Mayweather what Floyd just did to Marquez. Winky knew his size and strength would neutralize Mayweather's speed and skill set. Once Wright agreed to accept the ridiculous deal, surprise, Mayweather turned a deaf ear and went another direction and fought Sharmba Mitchell.
    ..............

    I'm saying Floyd :bolt.

How many times has Manny struggled to actually make fights and get in the ring with the best fighters out there? How many times has Floyd struggled to get the best in the ring? I think that tells you something about who looks to make fights and who looks for reasons not to.

    higher weight class = 154lbs
    12 oz gloves
    15 random blood testing
or he may never fight Manny period even if Manny agrees to the testing, and here's my favorite I’m not going to let boxing retire me, I will retire from boxing, lol.

Let me ask you this though, what would be Floyd's reaction if Manny agrees to the testing but wants to fight him in Dallas? I bet you that mofo will find all sorts of excuses not to go to Dallas period. Floyd and his team will desperately be grasping on to the straw excuse that Dallas is not the Mecca of boxing.

However, in all honesty, I don't care if he fights Manny or not anymore because I'm sick and tired of all his excuses. Ever since he moved up to 140+ he's full of excuses. I understand you have to build up a fight to a certain extent but enough with all these lame ass excuses, just ****ing fight the best already, and don't give me some crap that, well, he is fighting Mosley now. Well, everyone and their brothers know that he has no other choice and cornered that's why he is fighting Mosley.

It's back to the drawing board for St. Petersburg's Winky Wright as negotiations to fight 140-pound champion Floyd Mayweather fell apart Thursday morning at a meeting in Las Vegas.

"As of right now, it's no deal - they changed the money on me at the last second," said promoter Gary Shaw, who said he was close to finalizing the fight when he walked into Top Rank and Bob Arum's office Thursday.
But within seconds, he said, the deal evaporated.

"I walked in, I told him: "I believe we have a deal,' " Shaw said. "And Bob said, "so it's a deal - 55-45 (money split)'.

"I said, "Bob, that was never, ever discussed, no deal' and that was that."
The day before, Shaw said he and Arum had agreed to a 50-50 purse split as well as other requests from Mayweather's camp. He added that Wright adviser Jim Wilkes and Don King, who has an option on Wright's next fight, agreed as well.

According to Shaw, however, Arum said he did not remember that conversation. Arum was unavailable for comment.

    ..............

While Shaw said he agreed with just about all of the demands from the Mayweather team, principally regarding weight, he doesn't think the Detroit fighter, aformer Olympian, was behind the breakdown.

"I think it's Arum," Shaw said. "When Floyd normally calls someone out, he's serious about fighting them."

If Manny had agreed to the drug tests the next thing that Mayweather would have asked for would be for the fight to be called off. Because Pacman would then be busted for using PEDs.
