I was gonna say Arum should never be trusted but then I thought he can't go public with a statement like that and then turn around and pay Pac less than what he said to the media.

And also if you consider that Pac is probably getting near 80% of the purse, 17-20 million sounds attainable. Sounds like around 850K PPV buys

Makes perfect sense now! Yeah, he is totally taking majority of the purse... Thats crazy money for what seemed like a relatively easy fight. Wonder how much Arum is snatching up for himself. How much was the base pay for Mayweather vs Pacman for both before they split the PPV? Does anyone know?

It doesn't really matter to Arum, because Arum will get the lions share including a high % of what Pac makes, and then GBP will get a certain % as well.

So Arum can say he'lls pay Pac 20 mil, but Arum will probably pocket about 10 mil or more of that.

Its pretty sad that there are people out there that can sleep at night after robbing someone of that much money... Is there a set amount of fights Pacman has to fight under Arum or what? Why does he allow such a thing to happen?

Briefcase full of dollar bills. If you know the story, you'll understand why.

Nah, the dallas guy paid a site fee of 7 mil. according to ESPN. I don't know if Pac gets any share from the live gate.

All that's been mentioned are the guaranteed purse for Pac which is 12 mil plus a share of PPV. 17-20 is about right.

Another upside is that the increased exposure will probly get Pacquiao more lucrative endorsement deals.

Yeah, but Arum has lied before. He said before the PPV results came out for Cotto/Pac that it was around 1.5-1.7 and it wasnt. He likes to exaggerate.

However 850K PPV does sound reasonable. Pacs fanbase is constantly growing.
