He says he was weak in the fight due to an upset stomache and that he **** twice in the locker room. BULL****!!!! He **** because he was nervous. atsch
Just about every fighter makes up excuses to rationalize why they lost. "It wasn't the real me in there, I just wasn't 100%." That's how that old song plays out. Why should Clottey be any different?
nervousness causes stomach cramps. its not as if ate anything the day of the fight that would have caused it, i have had stomach cramps on a few very important days in my life when i am nervous beforehand and in fairness to clottey, for an hour or 2 they are a nuicense, but rehydrated and 15 mins after they have stopped its as if nothing has happened.
If it is true, then what's the thinking behind letting your opponent batter your stomach for 12 rounds?
The man showed up to get his check and that is all. He wasn't interested in winning and quite honestly wouldn't have been surprised if he wanted to throw in the towel right after the bell rang but Bob Arum told him that he wouldn't get paid if he did.
Clottey should shut the **** up and just admit that he was scared to go toe to toe with a much smaller guy.
