1. Floyd does well against fighters that lack defense. Ricky Hatton - walks right in Gatti 2. De la Hoya - waited to long to attack Floyd. When he did it bothered Floyd and he had no answer for the attack. Manny would be able to do what Oscar did late the entire fight with more movement and angles. 3. Shane Mosley.
lol..how can u base a fight off a fight that hasn't happened yet..though shanes d is not great its much better than mannies....EXCUSES STARTING ALREADY... AS I RECALL FOR THE LAST FEW YEARS, "FLOYD WOULD NEVER FIGHT A GOOD WW WITH GOOD SIZE".. HMMMMMM.....ARE THE EXCUSES STARTING ALREADY:think
:yep In response to the TS's statement: The same can be done with Pacquiao - he's subsceptible to the jab and right hand. Mayweather is second to none in terms of those two punches.
As of now there are no clear signs that Pac would walk through Floyd easily. I was watching Pac-Cotto the other night and noticed Pac was frustrated with lateral movement. He had a hard time catching Cotto while he was moving side to side. The only times Pac was able to get in his big shots was during an exchange and when Cotto would either back up or stop his tracks due to fatigue. Floyd will not tire easily and can jab and move laterally all night. And if Pac is going to attack aggressively he's opening himself up to getting countered. Throwing punches in bunches helps but it does not mean he has a clear advantage. He doesn't have a size/reach advantage like Margarito or PWill, so it's a different kind of pressure attack when you are small. Still a toss up between Pac and Floyd at this point. However I tend to think a great fighter will always beat a great smaller fighter. Then again Pac is tearing things up so wouldn't surprise me if he wins. A few other things - jabs have always been effective against Pac. Don't know why fighters don't use them more often. Also, ducking and slipping Pac's punches work so much better than backing away from them. If you have a great inside game it wouldn't be such a bad idea to work there. Getting him on the ropes can be effective as well.
The reason Manny will never lose to Floyd - He will never fight him. Ps. I hope Im wrong about that & if I am, I will take any bet with any of you pacfucs that Mayweather will beat Pacquiao. He is simply a superior fighter, period. Thats all !
If anything floyds D will tested by the best offensive machine in the sport today. If he passes that test Floyd wins UD. However what if manny starts to get through in the first half of the fight consistently. Will mayweather fold, adapt or outfight manny to take the fight? I dont think this is a test for pacquiaos D as much because, although mayweather will land a high connect percentage, unless he lets his hands go it honestly wont matter.
:deal Great Chin + No defence = Wrong end of ass whooping Great Chin + Very good or Great Defence = Beast
They only way to guarantee Pacman never loses against PBF is for Pacman not to fight him. If they fight Pacman will get shut down and stopped
pac doesnt lose to FMJ only if he doesnt fight FMJ. If they fight as i stated before floyd wins by late stoppage(i.e. hatton) or UD(maybe SD like they did him against ODLH cuz we all know it wasnt no SD hate mayweather or not)
