Do you realize that Chambers is not your normal Heavyweight?

He actually should be a Light Heavyweight or damn near a Super Middleweight.

He puts on and keeps a decent amount of weight on him - to continue fighting at Heavyweight. He has the skills and ability to still be fast and accurate -with the extra weight on. And to weight in at 209 is great for him. I could see if he was truly flabby or something - but that's not the case.

 

look at how much bigger Wlad's left shoulder is than the right. :admin

 

I like Eddie Chambers. I know him personally. unfortunately I see him getting smashed in a one sided fight. About 2 years ago when I was working with Hasim Rahman we had Eddie Chambers come in for some sparring. They did about 4 rounds. Rock busted Eddies face up bad using nothing more then his jab. The double jab n triple jab being particularly effective. he left with two black eyes, bloody nose, and bloody lip.

 

What I would give to be 209lbs! Shesh.

The thread starter is overreacting. Chambers looks as good as he possibly could at Heavyweight and he doesn't look out of shape, he looks fit. He is however fighting above what could be his best weightclass at CW.

 

That is crap. Fighting sports are about how you FEEL not how you look. Who cares if you come in looking like Mr. Olympia if getting to that form kills you physically? You will "look great" getting outworked and out hustled.

Eddie looks great considering his previous showings. We will see if this is enough to deal with WK.

 

What ?Shannon Briggs and Michael Grant couldn't box forget their conditioning !Power forwards and body builders do not belong in boxing .

Corrie Sanders had some good wins but whats his legacy ?

And Holmes was a tall lanky fighter at his worst in his prime he nor Riddick Bowe looked as Flabby as Chambers looked as of late so because he's less flabby today we should accept that ?

Did Lewis ,Tyson ,& Holyfield ever come out of shape for a fight ?If you want to be elite it has to show inside and out !
