Depends on how serious Eddie is about trying to win...if he goes into survival mode, it'll happen very late or not at all, corner retirement notwithstanding. If he presses, he'll at least give himself a better chance at winning, but more than likely would get stopped earlier in the mid-round range.
I disagree. If Chambers regresses to his Povetkin state, the sand will start pouring down the hourglass more rapidly. Wladimir will just relentlessly poke at Chambers' armor until he pierces it. Chambers doesn't quite have the foot speed to avoid Wlad outright (unless it's a fifty foot ring), nor is pulling a Kevin Johnson going to work for him. Wlad hits much harder and more accurately than Vitali, and KJ rolls with punches a tiny bit better than Eddie anyway. To have a chance to survive to the final bell or even beat Wlad, I actually think Chambers needs to be aggressive and put on one of those classic little-guy performances - being a busy gnat flying in circles around the bigger man and stinging him.
Probably? Coming in at mere 209 lbs? Had he slipped a lunch yesterday and take a good visit to the toilet first and 2 hours in the sauna second, he'd easily make CW limit. Hell, Chambers could make the LHW limit if he really wanted it... Chris Byrd weighed 210-220 lbs throughout his career and then his last two fights were at 194 against Sandow and 174 against George... After he recovers from the today's beating, Chambers might consider making a serious diet and mixing up the SMW ranks :rofl
Quite possible. A good deal will depend on how serious Wlad is about ending the show, as well. :thumbsup
The most on the money thing I can say about tomorrow night is that sure Wald is teh favourite and deservidly so but is anyone really going to be that shocked if chambers knocks him out? Probably not. And thats the best you could say about a Wald opponent for quite sometime.
Mid to late round knockout for Vlad. Void fans hate Vitali and Vladimir Klitschko, plus Boytsov and any Euro fighter who exists, including Euro descendants of such. They appeared to have been successful in having a writ-in campaign to boycott all Klitschko fights now and in the future. It is extremely doubtful that any Klitschko fight will ever be shown on USTV ever again.
It'll be a shock in terms of being a pretty big upset, but after seeing those replays of the short hook he clipped Dimitrenko with - yeah, it wouldn't come as the greatest surprise ever if he at least dropped Wladimir by employing an aggressive and laterally mobile style.
Oh it would be a fantastic upset don't get me wrong. But my point was for the first time in a long time I wouldn't be totaly suprised if Wlad got beat. There are other guys in the heavyweight division that I think have a better shot at pulling the upset then Chambers (david Haye) but my point is he can do it.
Chambers is in the best shape in years, what are you talking about? Still Chambers will go down inside 7 I think
