round 11 of Pac vs Clottey

I also had this as a stand out round... even though in general I thought the fight was a bit of a snoozer once I realised what was going to play out. This round also highlighted Pacs footwork I thought. Nicely balanced, moving from foot to foot but planting quickly and effectively when delivering shots. Not everything landed well, but it landed so I guess it must have had some impact even if it wasn't purely point scoring.

Pac definitely showed good variety (landing and not landing, but the artillery was varied and cummulative). Clottey showed that when he throws, he lands well, especially in this round, the upper cut.

And the tempo was good from both for the 11th round.

Pac definitely looked like the irons were hurting before the round started though. Not that that had any effect on the outcome, but he was sucking it up in the corner.

Thanks for the video, its funny how the smaller man is the one using the jab and trying to find opening while the bigger man is trying to close the distance to offload. Manny definitely has a good chin, those uppercuts were not KO material but would cause most to see stars and Manny kept on coming. Manny is too offensive minded, I guess his movement is what he considers his defense, pity we will never see him fight a fighter that has his level of movement and a great defense and good offense. I have given up on him fighting Mayweather as he wont pony up to take the test and both camps will continue blaming the others.

That was a hard right hook in the first clip.. if that landed behind the ear or on his head there would be a little more reaction than that..lol But if you dont have Pac's **** blocking your vision you will see Clottey ducked his head down further to avoid any connection kind of like a turtle. B/c he got turtle defense. ZOOM in if you dare or if you can.. lol How can he connect to his ear when the Clottey had his guard covering his ear in the first clip.
