im lookin for smigga to be back in the ring by july magees got a defense in may against some russian smigga wants to win the lonsdale outright so another defense b4 Magee

 

yeah i hear that. He deserves to own that belt!

 

only way hes giving up that lonsdale belt is for a world title shot

what ever happened to swiftys english title shot that was supposed to be last week.... i reckon hes not far off challenging lindsay and simpson for their british and commonwealth titles

 

he said after his fight that with there being 3 title fights on the bill already, frank couldnt put another one on. But has been promised next fight is for the english!!

 

did u go last week ? if ya left straight after the smigga fight ya should of stayed to see joe selkirk that was a knock out and a half

 

gutted i missed it my lift was early shame its not on youtube

 

i did mate, and was with 6 other people who all wanted to go for a pint, really wanted to watch it, heard was a good stoppage.

 

****ing unbelievable knock out was worth staying the extra 20 mins only lasted 2 mins he knocked him spark out

 

gutted mate. You know what, i have watched smiggas fight back a couple of times now, and some of the quick shots he landed, although not of knockout power, were quality. Not a quality fight all in all, but there are signs there that smigga has maybe got sopmething extra to help make him competitive at world level.
There was a fair bit of holding, and in the first 3 rounds, i would say smigga was as guilty as dodson, but as the fight wore on, dodson was just coming in with his head down, and holding on. There were a couple of times smigga had dodson rocked, had he have stood off a little bit more, i am sure the stoppage would have come.
Smigga also took an excellent shot from dodson, think it was the 6th, an uppercut, which was a class shot.

 

i havent had the chance yet to watch it back must watch it on youtube in the next few days to be honest i had it a lot closer than the judges did on the score card

 

doubt there will be a rematch with quigley he is dropping down to middleweight now and i reckon he will stay there as for anderson hes the only real option out there along with dilks only other 2 ya can think of would be groves or degale but they need a bit more experance under their belt

 

thats what im saying get the english title have another 3/4 fights he'll clean up in 2011 in my opinion
