But what proves my point is that in a whole entire round in a fight that is supposedly showing how good Pac is..lol You can only verify two clearly landed shots. I said one b/c I missed that little none effective behind the ear shot that did no damage. My bad.. But yet in this same round I seen Clottey literally LAND 4-5 times as many punches all flush clean and snapping catfish's head back. My point stands. Little clowns get excited by punches being thrown in bunches but the fact they are not connecting means nothing.
This is such a ridiculous argument. Pacquiao won the fight by a mile, probably won every round (the 11th is one of about 2 rounds you could try to make a case for Clottey winning) and yet people are still trying to discredit the performance. Clottey has been in with a lot of elite welters (more than Mayweather, for example) and has NEVER been beaten anywhere near as convincingly as that. Let's just give credit where it's due for what was an excellent performance by Pacquiao against a quality fighter who outweighed him massively.
:rofl I am not the only *******. Most boxing judges dont give the same credit for body shots as they do head shots. Head shots count more froma scoring perspective. And also, I gave credit for the body work. Its just that Clottey landed the best punches of that round and of that fight and he actually landed combos.. Oh dear. I guess landing a 3 uppercut combo flush is not a good thing either. And to my bigger point. Pac dont have a good defense. When Pac puts his gloves up. Clottey punched right through it cleanly. *Eliminating the conspiracy as to why the Pac got hit alot and more damaged as to him "letting Clottey hit him so Clottey can open up". Well.... Clottey opened up... and Pac did nothing but get punched. No counters.. I think you actually said this. But actually rewatching the fight you see it was bull****.
you're just not very good at telling which punches land and which punches don't. Of course Pacquiao when he lands clean will not make Clottey's head snap back the way Clottey does to Pac, because Clottey had like 12lbs on Pac. You think Pac didn't land any head shots but he landed several, on top of all the body shots that he landed.
If you look at the scorecard they had Clottey winning the 10th round. Thats why they showed those highlights before the 11th round started. I also feel like you could have gave that round to Clottey also. He landed the more clean power punches that round. Pacquioa punches were being blocked for the most part. He landed a few body punches a two light head shots the whole round. The punches did nothing to Clottey at all. The crowd made it seem more than it was cause they had been sitting there so long without any real exchanges.
Clottey landed more than 2 clean shots to the head also. I feel most of pacquiaos shots were blocked though. Who did you give rounds 10 + 11 too in that fight?? I scored both those rounds for Clottey plus one earlier round in the fight.
Homie....I know that Josh's "D" upstairs was like armor....but he still popped 30% of the time which ain't bad considering the great D Josh has and his inactivity which presented opening for Manny. Manny's success to the body was in abundance sucess to the head was there but limited.
lol! Seems there is no love for body work which was the foundation for this particular win for Manny.
