well this kinda thing has happened to me and to be honest, im too stuborn to keep my mouth shut. i spend the next few days trying to explain the science and tactics behind boxing and prove to them that its not just about 2 guys knockin **** out of each other. usually though, if someone doesnt wanna listen then it just falls on deaf ears and they finish by saying ''well I dont get it'' and if they dont understand, then they lose interest very quickly and end up saying ''well i dont get it''... basically, 2 out of 3 times you end up arguing with someone who just doesnt get what your talking about so the best bet is to just laugh and say ''well i love it personally''.

the worst argument though is when someone says to you ''i hate boxing. MMA is better because they dont use big gloves and theres more action in it''. In this case I feel like i need to protect and stand up for my precious boxing and i argue with them to the death :yep

 

If they go on about smaller MMA gloves I tell 'em about the older fighters, who did use maller gloves, and fight regularly against top opposition.
