A GUT....!!! HOW the HELL DOES THAT HAPPEN!!!!

Im not giving any fighter with a gut a chance to beat one of the klitschko's

As much as i want eddie chambers to win tonight i can't root for him with the height advantage and the gut advantage...

Thats just bad cardio how do you keep that and train for a boxing match and say you seriously were training hard? smh

You can add Juan Diaz to that list, it happens. They are still in great shape though thats just their body type.

It's surprising to me that in this day and age of training technology, some of these HW fighters look terrible physically. The HW fighters of yesteryears would put them all to shame.

A lot of it is them just not training or dieting hard. Out of shape just because. In Chambers' case, he's in shape, he's round in the midsection...

Yep. Fighters of yester year were tougher and probably better conditioned. Back in those days fighters had to fight more than twice a year to make a living. Fighters now have it much easier in comparison.

You dumb ****s, just don't get it. Some people are genetically predisposed to look a certain way. They can workout and get stronger, faster and be in great shape, but their bodies will never look like physical specimens. Not everybody's body responds the same way to exercise.

Fighters of yesteryear had less access to high fructose corn syrup. Also, they liked to train hard.

Not true. Everybody does respond the same way to excercise (and diet). The body uses fat as fuel. Period. If you have extra fat it's because your not burning it off. Which means you are not at 100% of what you can be.
While some people may have an easier time of "looking the part", anyone who trains and eats right will look like an athlete. If you have a gut, it means you are not at your optimum level. You may be at a good enough level, you may be at a level better than everyone else, but you are not at your peak level. A 100% trained athlete (especially a boxer) will not have extra body fat. So while looking ripped does not mean someone is at absolute fitness, not looking fit does mean that they are not at 100%.

No its not u dumb ****. I've seen it personally. I've seen a guy increase his bench by over 100lbs in the course of 2ys and not get any bigger in the chest and arms. That's why some poepl can be bodybuilder sand some can't. You have to have the right genes.
