not sure why everyone is jumping on eddies case, ibragimov, chagev, ruiz, valeuv, peter, arreola, meehan all those guys are flabby looking, soft if you will
You're an idiot. If you have a gut then you are categorically NOT in optimum condition. How could you possibly think otherwise?
he looked like puff daddy just my 2 cents i thought it was shaun combs in there but then again p diddy looks a bit better conditioned fat ****ing so called prospect i thought you have to hit people in boxing ???
OMG I'm not homophobic, but I wonder how many people here are looking for centerfolds to drool over. I know first hand that your body type/genetics dictates what your body looks like in shape. I have Chambers same build just abit shorter in height. I was in the Army for six years and despite never looking cut could easily hang with guys my saize or bigger conditioning-wise. It's simply my genetics. You all expect everyone to have spray on '300 Spartans' abs to be considered in shape but don't have enough sense to realize that has NOTHING to do with your functionality in the ring. Chris Arreola and Juan Diaz look soft and flabby respectively but these guys crank impressive workrates and stamina in the ring. Meanwhile musclebound guys like Jean Marc Mormeck, Joshua Clottey, and Shannon Briggs show consistent stamina problems later in fights inspite of looking like action figures. Hell afew years ago Wlad with his chiseled Greek god build lost twice due to stamina issues(Purrity and Brewster) If you want to drool over man meat then buy an issue of Playgirl. This is boxing where there the physique does not necessarily indicate what the fighter can do.
First off, whats with the name calling? Second off, there's a difference between gaining muscles and having too much fat. I said nothing of muscle size. We are talking about the extra fat that some fighters carry. An optimum trained boxer will not have extra fat. If you have extra fat it means you are eating more than you burn off. That is not up for debate.
Gaining muscle is separate form burning fat. I did bench heavy presses a lot but still have some belly fat because I didn't do enough cardio. My emphasis then was on strength training alone. When I went circuit training and running weekly the fat went away.
