That's actually a pretty astute observation. Reason being is we all know that in general, boxing is popular from the heavyweight division down in terms of popularity. If there were fighters like Tyson and Holyfield around still boxing would still be really popular with the masses.
What does a fan friendly style have to do with winning? Absolutely nothing. He fights to win, he knows his chin isn't Iron and he isn't going to go out like Lennox Lewis against McCall by trying to be flashy, so he fights his fight. This isn't new people, he does this every time he fights.

I enjoy his fights.. there's always tension because you know he's chinny. I enjoyed this fight a lot more than Manny vs Clottey.

I haven't seen the fight yet. Could it of possibly been more lame and horrible than Haye vs Valuev?
