If Wlad ads another notch to his belt against Chambers, will it help his legacy?

Yeah, I do. Very ugly arm punch, but unlike the other strangeness he actually landed it, and not behind the ear but on the point.

It's a shut-out and KO, asking for more than that is a bit silly, but I think Manny's frustration tells it's own story. When even your own cornerman is repeatedly beratting you for "bull**** decisions" that are "not good at all" there's a question mark...not my favourite Wlad display but terribly one-sided none the less.

That was a ripping punch and well delivered.. Hats off to Eddie for at least trying against an impossibly physically superior fighter.....

Sure it will help his legacy. It was a highlight KO vs a top guy in his prime who has never been stopped. I'll have to catch the replay as I did not see it!

Eddie Chambers is a young highly rayed talented contender coming off an impressive win over undefeated super heavyweight contender alex dimitrenko. This is a very good win for wlad. Especially when you account dominance factor. I am glad wlad finally opened up with his devastating left hook...I think this one punch knockout win will give him the confidence in his punching power in his future fights. Wlad is at his best when he opens up his left hook, and doesn't soley rely on his right hand. I think its clear Wlad is the man in the heavyweight division. Vitali has accomplished nowhere near what Wlad has. He also does not have the skills and power his brother has. Wlad is taking on the best contenders in the division and dominating them. All that is left for Wladimir is David Haye and Alexander Povetkin. Vitali has a long way to go. He keeps fighting stiffs, including this scheduled one coming up. What's his name? Not only can't I pronounce it, i never even heard of that damm guy before.

Wladimir Klitschko is the real deal. His legacy will only continue to rise in the next few years. All he needs to do now is fight a fast dangerous top notch puncher..and prove he can beat that style empathetically.

I said it won't help his legacy any more than the other title defenses. Sure it's another victory and another title defense, but Chambers is not an outstanding opponent in a historical sense and did not bring anything new to the table compared to the rest of the men that Wladimir has already fought.

I disagree a tad. Chambers to be was better than say Brock. Since Chambers has two wins over top ten guys ( Peter and Dimitrenko ), and was close to Povetkin. Wlad dominated him, and finished him with a classic type of KO. His legacy just went ^^^ a bit.

Hey, Vitali is fighting the best of what's available for him. He just beat the two best American HWs that weren't Chambers and now he's getting Europe's best available...A Zuri Lawrence leftover. But it is what it is. Valuev would rather get bummed by a pineapple than fight him and Haye's busy and Povetkin wants his earned spot at Wlad. Eh.

    Disagree.

    Chambers was

    A. Young(Under 30)

    B. Fast(probably the fastest HW hands in years)

    C. highly rated 35-1 and had a proven resume..beating Calvin Brock, Sam Peter, and undefeated super heavyweight contender Dimitrenko. He also lost only a close one to povetkin.

I love Wlad. I am so glad he won. He has been a dominant force in the heavy division now for the last 5 years. I can't wait till he fights povetkin and haye. As for Vitali...well he has got a lot to prove still.

Wlad's technique for a man his size is 2nd to none. He has many different tools. He is so polished all around, as both a boxer and puncher. Same cannot be said of his brother.

Hey Q, I agree this fight stinks. Valuev would not take 2.5 million and a title shot to meet Vitali, and Haye has no interest as well.

After facing four top ten Ring Magazine guys in a row, Peter, Gomez, Areolla, and Johnson, Vitali is facing non top 20 fighter. Chalk this up as an easy keep busy type of fight.

Hopefully Haye or Valuev will man up and take the fight. If not, there is not much left for Vitlai to pound on. Maybe Solis, or Boystov.
