I think the difference between Haye and Chambers is that Haye will take more chances. If he fights Wlad it wont go more than 4 rounds. Either he knocks Klit out or he gets knocked out himself. He wont stand in front of Wlad and allow him to dictate the pace of the fight with his jab.

Agreed Haye won't go 12 rounds with Wlad like he did Valuev

IMO, both Wlad and Vitali would likely TKO Valuev. Valuev may not drop to the floor but he would be taken out of the fight by either the referee or his own corner due to the accumulation of power punches.

Unfortunately Valuev didn't feel like getting in the ring with Vitali so we may never know. Currently it looks like Valuev prefers enforcing his rematch contract with Haye rather than fighting the Klits.

I'm not so sure. Despite what they say about the broken hand, Adam Booth seemed quite happy with the way the fight was going, and if anything he was warning Haye not to get sloppy with his defence. I can't really see him doing a Manny Steward and shouting at Haye to go for the KO.

I would expect Haye to take his time and to force Wlad into opening up in the middle rounds before going for the money shot.

At the same time, I can't really see him getting close enough to land it.

When being able to hold out his arm for 12 rounds is pointed out as one of his best attributes, what else can you do?

Take another look at round 5 of Vlad's fight against Lamon Brewster. With that lack of punch resistance any size advantages aren't too important. Haye's problem will be his vulnerability to Vlad's power whereas Tua is almost impossible to knockout and will be a menacing presence from round 1 through to 12. Both have a decent chance and didn't graduate from the Tony Thompson "Just Glad to be Here" school of boxing.

Sorry i like tua, but the **** has he done in the last 5 years to show he deserves anything like a shot at the title ?, yeah i know some of the other guys have done less, but tua is one annoying mofo in terms of we all know he has the punch to hurt anyone, but seems content to just fight nobodies these days, hes had 12 fights or so in the last ****ing 9 years or something, whats wrong with the guy ?

Haye's superior speed and movement will by more significant than Wlad's size advantage.

And Haye is bigger than Chambers.

I believe he's been involved in legal wrangles involving his business dealings that seemed to derail his boxing career. I like Tua as well and after a two year lay off he was looking in good shape when he demolished Shane Cameron. I'd love to see him get a title shot.

You know what I meant by that. It sounds easy, but to maintain stamina for 12 rounds at heavyweight is something that seperates the best from the rest. The fact that he can throw those laser jabs non-stop for 12 rounds, funny as it sounds, is actually a freakish achievement.

Add to that the fact Chambers is 209lbs soft, Haye is 220 solid.

As you say If Haye doesn't beat Wlad it's got nothing to do with size.:good
