That's what they also said about Cotto before him and Pac fought. Cotto ended up not finding an answer to counter Pacquiao's relentless offense. Sure Pacquiao's defense is not as great as Floyd's but so far the top fighters he's faced hasn't found a solution to beat him yet.

It does suck that there is nobody out there for Pac, but that's a bed that he made, and now he has to lie in it. The Clottey fight buzz is long gone, and all eyes are on Mayweather.

I am not delusional enough to think that Alexander is ready for Pac, or that he and/or Bradley can beat Pac. I mentioned them because of the style match up. I do however feel that both Mosley and Mayweather beat Pac like a red-headed stepchild should they ever meet (of course, that largely depends on how Shane looks against Floyd since he's had such a long layoff).

Cotto has never been known for his defense, his movement, or for his counter-punching. I never believed that Cotto could do it against Pac. If you recall I said that Cotto looked like Mr. Roboto in training camp when they showed him on 24/7 working mitts and hitting the heavy bag.

I have NEVER been impressed by Cotto, and the fight against Pac sealed it for me. The hype of Cotto v.s Pac was that Cotto was bigger, stronger, and that he had heart. Heart helps, but I'd rather have the blinding speed, amazing work rate, and the ability to hit from all angles that they said when talking about Pacquiao if you know what I mean. The moment the media starts talking about a fighter's heart, I put money on the other guy.

I was talking about most of the anti Pac folks in here before the fight happened. I know you are a PBF fan and you know Im a Pacman fan. FLoyd is a master defense fighter and Pac is an Offensive monster. It's safe to say that Floyd's offense is his defense and Pac's defense is his offense. Funny how the two are so much alike although very different in every way.

I still believe the fight between Pac and PBF will happen at the end of the year and all these hype about drug testing etc. is just hype for the biggest fight in our generation. :good

A lot of those right hands Josh threw were being parried or blocked. Some that he threw looked like they were landing but they weren't. Manny was also inviting Clottey to throw at certain times.

Pacquiao does need to work on his defense a bit though. Even though it's better then it used to be.
