World class referee. Joe Cortez has just been inconsistent since I've been watching the sport, but the worst referee I've ever seen is the one who officiated Reid/Ottke.
yea i posted the video to that. Cortez gets too involved, doesnt let fighter fight there way out. also what about the referee that done bute v andrade when he counted like 16 seconds that bute was on the floor
Cortez is the worst by far. Also, whoever that ref was for the Vivian fight just recently. I'm going to look up who it was.
Im sure there are worse refs but the ref from the Benn-McClellan fight was simply awful. The one from the Williams-Airich fight was even worse but i have no doubt that the guy was bought by Ohner.
