I used to think it was how crappy they were but frankly, after all these guys, you have to assume it has more to do with what Wladimir is doing to his credit than what they're not doing to their detriment.

    Arreola's balance is so bad.

Vitali, unlike Wlad, can fight going back. Arreola ain't the hardest guy to hit, lunging in off balance, but still. Vitali impressed me in that fight, and than looked worse than **** against Johnson.

Clearly cause thats all he ever throws, you have to wait 11 rounds for a right hand.

I thought the obvious answer was that Wladimir is not letting anyone past his jab. He is truly dominant at the moment. Chambers beat up on Dimitrenko, who is a top 10 guy and similar in height and build to Klitschko, yet when he fights Wlad he struggles to land a punch and gets brutally KO'd.
He is fighting top ranked guys who come in trying to execute their game plan to the best of their abilities, but Klitschko is too ****ing good right now.

 agreed. A lot of what Arreola does isn't exactly pretty...defense, footwork, preparation, balance. The things he has going for him are he's one of the few HW's that punches in combinations(though Vitalis movement took it away) and when he steps in the ring he's a pretty tough customer.

Corrie Sanders showed everyone a long time ago how to beat wlad. Wlad is so scared of getting hit still till this day. I think a in shape Solis could be trouble for Wlad. The guy is heavy handed and Wlad has not faced anyone with power since the Peter fight. Haye has the power to beat Wlad but its a matter of who lands first. Neither can take a punch. But I would pick Solis to beat Haye.

Corrie Sanders fought Wladimir in Germany. Wlad had that same "Ivan Drago" face. Wlad had that same aura of invincibility. Corrie was no ATG, yet look what happened. There comes a time when the guy who claims he's supposed to be there as the legit challenger has to fight like it.

Wladimir Klitschko is a human being. He cuts easily just like Vitali. The difference is, he does not hold a shot as well as Vitali does. He isn't used to taking punishment; he's used to dealing it out. Until a guy can get in there with the tools to give as much punishment as he takes, then Wladimir will continue to win on his terms. He's not facing adversity from any of his opponents lately.

The fact is, there are not many heavyweights out there with the size, stamina, power, skills, or experience to give Wladimir a legacy fight. He is definitely beatable, there just isn't anyone around today with the tools. Wlad is definitely a skilled big man. He's definitely gifted. But he's definitely not unbeatable or top 15 ATG.

As far as slipping his jab, they don't seem to be teaching fighters how to bob and weave like they did in the 70's these days. There isn't a single heavyweight out there with the stamina to throw 5 and 6 punch combos at Wlad to keep him in a defensive stance either.

Today's heavyweights are ****, besides Haye, Povetkin, and The Klitschkos themselves. Almost none of them show up in fighting shape. Wlad and Vitali win their fights outside of the ring. The battle is already underway in training camp.

this is the truth. iv been watching heavyweight fights from the 80s and 90s and the guys back then were so so much better. who knows how good w klitsckho is really? a procession of easy wins against guys that in any other era wouldnt get a sniff of even an eliminator plus he has 2 losses on his record that are pretty poor. we know that vitali is a good fighter. watch his fight with corrie sanders or lennox lewis; fights worthy of being for one of the biggest titles in sport.

these guys really do suck. maybe haye can make wlad fight like good old fashioned heavyweight slugging.

thats what heavyweights are about; the 'biggest hardest' guy in the world knocking people the **** out, hopefully adamek, haye, maybe boystov and hey even david tua can do it or make the champ do it

    lower weights are dfferent.

i also think that if odlanier solis was sat down by bob arum and told son lose 35 pounds, get in fighting shape, get serious and il make u a multi millionaire he could be a serious contender.

hes got the skills and seems to put his punches together with style and the intention of knocking people out

If only he would get his ass in shape though. Solis could probably make some noise, but he's on the road to the same lazy payday that most of the Klitschko opponents fight for.

He wants to get a Klitschko paycheck and be done with it, based on his lack of concern for being in his best physical shape. It's a shame because the guy is actually quite good.

I think the guys can get through the jab, but what do they get if they get through it? A counter right or left. Too big a price to pay with that big a guy punching them.
