True but it wasn't just Lewis and Tyson (it was not a prime Tyson in the second fight) it was most times he stepped up to world level, except the non punching McCall. In Haye's case there isn't that much on which you can base his chin at heavyweight no, althought given his cruiser is past its a fair assumption to make that it wont be cast iron.
Haye was knocked down by a cooked Monte Barret, was he not? People soon forget that his performance in that fight wasn't the most convincing, especially given the level of opposition. Mormeck had him down too...
Ill go for Haye KO...... Hayes got more speed quicker sharper, harder punches and more aggressive, Bruno was more of a traditional boxer and would try and keep it at distance... I think Haye survives Bruno's attacks and bang him out.....
Can Haye actually fight on the inside? and in and out of a clinch? I'd say Bruno is probably the better there. I'm not sure Haye punches harder either.
Yeah cause he can, he can clinch as you saw against Valuev...... That's all he really needs to do, is keep his distance, tie him up and use his quickness and sharp punching to see him through... And i would say he has got more KO power than Bruno, maybe not as heavy handed but more explosiveness
Yeah that's all i remember him doing, holding on and keeping his distance.... And managing to avoid punches......
Yes, the ref was mighty generous to Haye that night/afternoon. Haye has shown a great ticker, but his chin has cost him on more than one occasion. He would of been amateur world champion, but for the chin...
Whoever gets the big guns off first wins this one andi think that it might be David Haye...:yep I love Bruno and this is a tough thread to pick on but my head and heart say Haye for a TKO quite early...:yep
