Even though Paulie isnt the biggest of punchers, his skill and slick style i feel should be appreciated. Personally if khan does stop paulie convincingly i feel he would make a serious statement to the 140 division.

The critics and haters will inevitably bring up the "chin not being tested by feather fisted paulie" case, but boxing is more than just how hard someone hits.

So what do u guys think will khan deserve credit for stopping paulie? Will he have made a statement? Where do u see khan after the fight (win or lose)

Plenty of credit. Paulie's never been legitimately stopped in the pros. McGirt throwing the towel is meh, Paulie was getting whooped, but could've carried on... He didn't get stopped is the point.

If Khan TKO's Paulie it will rank as his best win by far.

i agree paulie was getting owned, but nowhere near enough for the fight to be stopped, the cynical side of me suggested a vegas betting conspiracy. Most ppl had hatton to win on points, the bookies wouldve lost a fair bit if the fight wasnt stopped IMO

I think it will be a good fight for Khan, in his favour yes, but still a good fight, he is only 22in his 3rd fight in this class, Paulie is fast well skilled, so if Khan out boxes him to a ud i still feel he deserves credit, Paulie is a consistent performer in this division,

Would be good to see Khan take a couple of Paulies shots to see how he holds up at lww as he is yet to be tested

I'd be very impressed, particularly if it was a one punch KO. Khan doesn't possess the style that usually gives Paulie fits in that way. This is a distance fight IMO.

Will be a good technical fight. Paulie gets hit a bit too much for my liking so a stoppage is possible.
    War Khan. Well sort of

    Agreed.

And as such he should get tremendous credit. It probably wouldn't tell us anything about his punch resistance but would certainly answer a lot of questions regarding his punching power at LWW (unless its some kinda fist flurry bull**** stoppage).

Can't see it happening though. This fight has Khan UD written all over it.

Your probably right there Mac :good but if Khan stops Paulie or even dominates him in front of his own fans in his first fight stateside it will propel him into the limelight big time

I can see Khan stopping him. Speed kills as they say.

Also, Hatton would've stopped Paulie earlier if Paulie had actually come to fight and not just hold on for dear life.

Paulie's quick too, his speed could cause Khan some trouble, in fact it will cause Khan trouble. Hatton was no where near stopping Paulie. He ****ed him up like a gooden yeah, but only once properly hurt him in the 2nd (?) and Paulie as you say did hang on, but cleared his head and got beat up some more. Don't think there was any danger of Paulie getting KO'd or TKO'd.

hmmmm.... Khan will ko Malignaggi. nowt against PM, I even think he stunned RH on occasion. But, Khan is just too good against boxers. PBF aside, Khan is as natural a pure boxer there is in and around the weight class.

PBF and JMM aside he stops just about every pure boxer around. boxer-punchers is a different point.
