Without laughing can anyone here honestly argue that Wlad would beat a prime Tyson?

I agree, but the topic is tyson and wlad. Why put Ali in it? That doesn't make sense.

 

I don't think its ever a joke to say that one very good heavyweight champion can beat another... Do I think its likely that Wlad would beat him? No.. probably not.. But to shrug the implication off as a laughing stock claim is probably short sided..

 

bad style match up for wlad. no doubt he would have to alter his usual gameplan for this one. the version of wlad we've seen in his last 2 fights is wlad at his best imo. he's big, super experienced and intelligent, fast and elusive, ko power in both fists, relentless jab, excellent footwork, excellent conditioning...the problem is he won't utilize the uppercut enough and that could be a big problem. PRIME tyson could weave inside and work the body and come up stairs at some point when wlad leans in for the clinch. Wlad could wear tyson out if he can move the fight into the middle rounds dominating with his left as tyson slows down a little, but can he get there?

I'd favor tyson 60-40 right now. I think Wlad would have to let the uppercut go early in this one though..he has this punch like he showed against peter and thompson. He must make tyson think twice before coming in like a raging bull. If he can, he will beat up tyson from the outside...if not tyson has a good chance at a tko rounds 4-6.

only PRIME lewis is a worse style matchup for wlad.

Tyson KO1. Tyson would rush Wlad no doubt. He would not hesitate like some of the guy's he's fighting. Wlad would not last long to expose any of Tyson's flaws.

you are one always checking grammer cause you have no boxing knowledge but idont see prime wlad whould beat wlad except in mirror. an in regards to your thread it is subjective to opinion an i believe tyson wins but if buster beat him by fighting behind the jab an following up with right it is not such an unfathimable accurance considering wlad has faught behind jab all his career an buster did it in fight of his life.
