they need a time and a place for the anthems....not after 14 boring undercard fights....they should have them at like in middle of show..reason all applause is so loud is because the damn songs are over its over and not because the singer did a good job. some of the idiots stretch out a 90 second song to what seems like ten minutes, by trying to show off some stupid vocal skills because this is their 5 mins of fame
The England one is fine, its really short and over in about 10 seconds. As for the American one, that is the ****ing most boring thing in the world. It goes on for ages!!! Nobody wants to sit there and listen to that **** for about 10 mins.
The American anthem is one of the worst. Then there are the singers that sing it, trying to hold notes for cheers from over-patriotic wanker fans.
The Mexican National Anthem at the JC CHavez-Hector Camacho fight is one for the ages...... What made it special is that every Mexican in attendance, and the Arena was full of Mexicans, all joined along in the singing of the Anthem. ......and the fact that it was Mexico vs Puerto Rico, made it that much special for Mexican's. The wording of the Mexican National anthem's chorus...... Mexicans, at the cry of war, make ready the steel and the bridle, and the earth trembles at its centers at the resounding roar of the cannon. and the earth trembles at its centers at the resounding roar of the cannon! With CHavez at center ring singing along and getting ready to wage war with Hector Camacho, that anthem with the crowd in unison singing along was one to make every hair on your body stand on end. Here's the youtube clip of the anthem, you can here the audience in the backround much better in the Showtime version of the fight, but I could'nt find the anthem of it on youtube. The Mexican Anthem starts at the 1.20 mark...... [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Kq2GySx_3k[/ame]
