    Oh god.

I don't know one person who picked Baldomir, not one.

I don't even remember hearing many people make the one you heard a bit of over the weeks leading up to Clottey Pac tilt of "You never know, he's big, he MIGHT cause the upset... etc"

Floyd doesn't need his later career defended, everyone with an objective mind can see that from 135 til the Mosley fight Floyd has been way more safety first in the way he picks his fights - Hopefully he will continue post Mosley - Should he win - To take tough fights that you won't need to make a BS thread about.

Yer kidding right? He has wins over Holmes and Spinks that are black and in the HOF. Not to mention wars with not great but good Ruddock. Someone needs to do their homework. Better luck next time bud!:hi:

lol bigreg don't tell me what we already know in such an organized matter. Your posts are systematically methodical like Miguel Cotto's boxing style. Baldomir is an ordinary guy, he beat the biggest underachiever in boxing history (judah), beat a guy in Gatti which was absolutely 100% worthless victory. The fact that Floyd fought Judah anyways is what makes this even more hilarious...THEN, went and fought Baldomir because he didn't want to face other house hold names. Other fights could have been promoted so that he would have made more money. But he didn't, and when he beat Baldomir he started crying like a child.

    Floyd is completely emo

Las Vegas, NV - WBC welterweight champion Carlos Baldomir will be the heavy underdog as he defends his crown against a man many consider the best pound-for-pound fighter in the game, Floyd Mayweather Jr., on Saturday at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino.

What planet was this guy on when that fight took place? I can't recall too many people who weren't simply trying to sell a horrible fight who actually thought that Baldo would even be competitive.

Larry's a disrespectful drunken *****. HBO should've canned this guy years ago. The disrespect he showed Mayweather after the Baldomir was so unprofessional. It was hilarious watching Floyd put him in his place on national television.

Judah and Baldo were both top 5 WWs when Floyd fought them. Carlos did about as well against Forrest as a prime Mosley(according to the scorecards). Baldo also rocked Forrest(which Mosley couldn't do) and never hit the canvas(also what Mosley couldn't do) Zab Judah did something to a prime Corey Spinks that prime, undefeated, MW champ Jermain Taylor couldn't do; knock him out.

Floyds win over Baldomir was a good, solid win at 147 pounds, however Mayweather was not the under dog and I expected him to win by UD as did most of the boxing community.
