Here in Doucheland there's A, B, C and N class. N is true novice, less than three fights won. C is 3 to 7 fights won, B 8 to 12, and A is 13 or more fights won. The only truly open class is A, but fights between classes are occasionally happening as a so called "prestatie gevecht".

Once you've boxed in the ABA's you are considered open class. Ie you can be matched competively against anyone. For example I boxed Foster and Mathews who were number one and two in my divisions. :good

my second season was my worst too.i had my first fight of that season in the november after a badly broken arm.
i won my 1st fight in the november but fought 2 nights later and was crap.
i should have fought on the friday to make it 3 a in week but my arm was dead.i had my 5 more fights that season and lost them all.in fact they were that bad i can't even remember them at all.only the locations.
i did weight training during the close season and the next season was my best in boxing even though i lost the 1st.
    keep going mate:good

I believe so- I don't think its an offical thing but when your a beginner you are matched with caution- as you progress less caution is required. You get to a stage bwhere you are capable of fighting anybody regardless of their ability. :good

in my second fight i fought a lad in liverpool who was making a comeback.he was about 18 or so and had boxed at junior.i only knew this because i'd read it in the liverpool echo.he must have been 6 or 7lb lighter than me but was a good boxer.if i jabbed he threw 2 if i threw 2 jabs he threw 3.he just out worked me.
i was trying to pace myself because in my 1st fight i ran out of steam in the last round.i finished the fight fairly fresh:oops: but well out boxed.

did you ever know any lads from kendal abc or lancaster ??

I'm not too worried about it, I'd rather actually win rather than get the nod
