Audley Harrison Revenge or Retirement

There's no way back if he loses...he may be deluded but he knows this now. He can't claim to have what it takes to win world title if he can't win at this level. I also think he's using this last chance saloon talk to give him a edge.

 

He will be back if he gets beat.

 

He won't be so eager and will just throw straight lefts. Same old Audley. He can beat Sprott. It's a bit more interesting if Audley does beat Sprott. Hopefully Audely will stay realistic and go for a Rogan rematch rather than calling out Vitali.

 

Do you think we could see Haye v Audley? If Haye can get 800k ppv buys against Valuev and if he cant get the klits after Ruiz, I think it could be made, probably the biggest fight £££££ out there after the Klits.

 

Wonder if they'd have the nerve to put this on PPV :huh We'll never find out though, Audley won't get to that level and I'd like to think that Haye wouldn't waste his time.

theres no such thing in boxing as no way back the sport is littered with people who have fights that are billed as if they lose theres no where to go they lose and 6 months later they are back christ danny willams has built an entire career on that

 

Wow...what a weird path it's been to get to the rematch.

Audley can definitely win this and should've won the first. So long as he doesn't act so sloppy again he should get it. Sprott's always been hot and cold but has been a lot more cold recently. Yet if any fight is going to spur him on, it's this one.

Have to think, even for Audley, it's over if he loses again though.

 

If he loses he should call it a day,even if its a close call on points.If he cant get past Sprott there is no point in Audley carrying on.He should have won the first fight and has the talent to win the rematch.But this is Aud we are talking about so there is every chance he will blow it.

 

Haye vs Audley would be a HUGE success in the U.K if it was marketed properly. In fact, because Audley is known to everyone in the country it would be more successful than a Haye vs any Klitschko fight.

 

He's already lost to Michael Sprott and that doesn't stop him consider himself world champion material.

He lost to Martin Rogan in his last fight and he's still selling himself as world champion material. Somehow he's fighting for a European title, that's a disgrace. These two guys aren't even top 10 in Europe.

Let's be realistic, he wont give up and retire just from a loss against a C-level fighter. If he retires it's because he's smart enough to know he's run out of mugs to buy into his bull****. It's all about money.
Sadly, I see people continue to buy into his bull****.

 

If he loses he's finished. There's nowhere left to go realistically.

This is a real opportunity for him, one that perhaps he doesn't deserve but it's an opportunity none the less. Winning opens up doors to world titles. As Euro champ he will be a legitimate contender to WBC champ Vitali and a domestic showdown with Haye will be a big money spinner.

I hope he does win. He should as long as he isn't too wary of Sprott's power shots and turns it into a boring negative performance. Sprott was lucky last time. I hope he stops Sprott and I hope he gets his world title shot. I'm not 100% convinced it will turn out this way though.

If he got a world title shot (at a Klitschko or Haye), for winning this fight it would be a DISGRACE.

It would be wrong on so many levels, I dont even want to start getting into it.

Maybe I'd give him a shot a 47 year-old Holyfield if he can beat Sprott.
And I'd pray that Holyfield doesn't hurt him too badly.

 

No it wouldn't because he would be the European Champion.

You can argue that it's a disgrace that Harrison is fighting Sprott for the European title and I wouldn't argue with you. These things happen though.

If he does win and if it leads to a world title shot then it would make something worth watching on TV for British boxing fans.
