........then start by using a shopping trolley for balance. Left hind leg first.. then the right hind leg.. You'll get the hang of it..
How do the dykes know to head over to Balaclava? That's what I don't get. It's not like boxers all hang out in one suburb.
Here's a list of boxing clubs, if it helps: http://www.boxingvic.org.au/clubs.html The Melbourne, Collingwood, Fitzroy clubs on that list might be close enough to Balaclava.
here it is. while you're there, be ready to live in a state with its head shoved so far up its own arse, it tells itself continually its better than everyone else. no other state in australia lives with such insecurity.
Go along to the Fitzroy Boxing club now run by Robbie Peden. For the unfamiliar, Robbie is one of a very select few of legitimate world champs to come out of Australia over the last 10 years. He has recently moved from QLD down to Melbourne and has been working hard at setting this gym back up, raising it from ruins and making it a great club once again. I was lucky enough to get a tour through there a few weeks back. He will be doing everything from corporate stuff to raising Aussie Juniour Champs, best of all he is training himself for a come back fight for charity so you may be lucky enough to get to spar a real former world champ!
Yeah, that sounds like a great Idea I'l have to get over and have a look at that gym. Any Idea of the location kflex?
That sounds great, where does he advertise?? I wouldn't have heard of this if you hadn't mentioned it. Beginners allowed at his gym?
No advertising at this point... Beginners can pop in and out right through the day. Gym usually opened from 10am. Peden remains busy with plenty of other activities and might not necessarily be in a trainers mode, yet the equiptment is all there for the sweating.
Sweet, sounds like a goer. I'm sure it will have its fair share of talent move through the doors in time as long as Peden is running gym and getting the kids into it
