    http://www.manchestereveningnews.co...2_hatton_exclusive__ill_decide_when_to_retire

Also talks about Macklin, Magic Matt and Haye

On the Roach thing - if this is true it is twice now that Freddie has bullshitted about being asked to train British fighters. There was a story about Roach saying Haye had asked him to help with training but that was later denied by Booth and now this. :think

Feel sorry for Hatton, he's always fought to the end in the ring, even if some people think he took the easier fights sometimes.

Christ, getting hammered by Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather is something to tell the grand kids:cool:

getting pretty pissed off now with hatton, either retire or dont, simple as. I dont thinki hes got it in him anymore, i mean which kinda fighter starts training then stops and goes on a mates stag do to get tanked up. He clearly doesnt love the sport anymore so just retire and stop looking to make a final payday. Either have a final farewell fight and put in 100% training, after all u owe it to urself and ur fans, or just call it a day, dont give us his limbo bull****

Limbo? You feel the need for closure on a boxers career?

i dont no, lol but if he wants to box on then do it with full committment, get a proper trainer sort out a proper diet and put the beers down. Im fed up of all this hattons announcing his retirment then suddenly hattons decided not to retire just yet, the dudes like 200lbs atm, realistically hes not gonna make 140 again and hes not got anyone to fight maybe apart from marquez.

Really glad to read this bit:

I have myself been spending some time in the gym this week and I think I gave some members of the gym a shock running next to them on the running machines. I also partook in a spinning class which is much harder than I thought!

Good news, with this training plan you should lose the weight and be ready to face an opponent in 2012.

realistically he should try shed the weight gradually and look at one final fight late this year/early next against an opponent who isn't going to give him too much trouble.

Didn't RJJ say that when he came down from heavyweight he did it to quickly. He said it should have took him 2 years to do it correctly...:yep

Hatton has always done it the unconventional way...that's just his way...:yep
