I am not faulting, but at the same token people can't be giving him credit for all this 'theoretical' fights - as if they happened. Sure he would beat Margarito, Pac, Cotto and SSM but he did not so that should have little or no bearing to his ATG standing. You can't go saying "He can beat anyone right now that is why he is the greatest of his generation".

I can agree with the first part, not the second. The first part is theoretical and subjective. So until the first part happened ("beat everyone" FIGURATIVELY) he is not the greatest of his generation. Beating SSM is a huge step forward but far from sealing the deal.

People confuses his talents and skills with his actual REAL achievements.
