Are people on this forum that naive to think that boxers and trainers don't cheat . Don't make me pull out a long list of boxers and trainers who have cheater the sport ...BECAUSE I WILL!!!!
Of course it's the main reason why people are questioning him. That and the fact a guy with his style don't really do well when they move up that far. Usually boxers who try to outpoint and outbox you or defensive specialists do better as they move up rather than guys who rely on a high work rate and going for KOs do. That's because bigger men can take their punches and they get beat up by bigger men. But yet the guy refuses to take a random blood test in the steroid era and makes every excuse under the sun to prevent from taking them. He's very suspicious by doing so and a cloud will forever hang over his legacy..
move on flhomo and dont be butthurt. the nike endorser don't usually bow to a reebok freebie beneficiary. :yep:yep such is life. :good
I don't agree with everything Pimp C said but the last line holds some truth. Him agreeing to the test, then backing out, wanting this, then that. Puts a big ? mark over his head. That doesn't mean he's on anything, it could merely mean his team handled the situation wrong big time and in turn it looks bad for Pac. I've spoken to a few of my buddies on the situation who most agree Pac looks fishy in the situation.
But thats another reason why its strange. He has a lot of miles on his body yet he gets better and better and better. its super fishy to me that hes doing what hes doing. The random testings are needed
It confuses me sometimes.. Either MP has faced mostly cherry picked, faded, weight drained, shot, or tailor made opponents for him, that's why he's succeeded even in the higher weights.. or he's taking PEDs, that's why he's beating up all those bigger name fighters. Which is it, exactly?
Mark Mcgwire ..Barry bonds ...all seem to retire once the roid issue got deep ..is Manny doing the same ....LIKE I SAID THE **** IS STRANGE ....IF ITS TRUE ...SAY IT ISN"T SO MAN. These two ball players could have played another 2 to 3 years ...but once people are down the crack of your ass ...then they hollar ....RETIREMENT.
Pac weighed as low as 112 when he was 20 years of age and 120 when he was in his mid 20's........... While Pac was weighing in the 120's when in his mid 20"s, Mayweather was a full blown 135 pounder who moved to 140 lbs when he was 26 years old. .....and lets add that Mayweather as happens with most fighters moving up in weight, his workrate and power decreased with each weight jump. Pac's has remained at a constant, and even has amped up his workrate as he's moved up the scales, which has never in the history of boxing ever happened. In the history of the sport, there has never been a fighter that relies more on punching power and workrate who has moved more than 2, 3 weight divsions max. ....and just about everytime, those fighters moving up are never as successful at the higher weight than they were below.
His actions are very suspicious to say the least. First it was we'lll agree to testing then they backed out saying he was scared of needles, he doesn't like giving blood on and on and on.:blabla Mosley moved right in and has no problems taking random blood test as should anyone who knows their clean and has nothing to hide from a the public.:deal
The guy's been hinting at retirement, the whole of 2009. Even before the Hatton fight happened. The Mayweather fight only became REALLY serious talk only after he KO'd Hatton and stopped Cotto. The FMJ fight was not really on their sights, realistically, back in 2008-2009, and he was ready to close out his career anytime soon (it was complete already, if you looked at it) and get out of the fight business with a lot of money, a good career, and his good health still intact.
Even if you can say that DLH, Hatton, Cotto, and Clottey were past there prime, a fighter who has moved as many divisions in a short span as Pac has has no business beating those guys in the fashion he has. Taking the bigger and game Cotto by the horns to bully him....... ........and keeping a defensive but extremely strong Clottey in his shell the whole freakin fight, and Pac still had the energy to keep going and fight another fight, in each and everyone of those contests???
