Who Thinks Haye can Beat Wlad ?

Wlad would outjab him. After a couple of rounds Haye would eat a hard right and it would be the end.......

 

I think Haye has got a better chance than a lot of people think.

Its all about adopting the right tactics, IMO.

 

Haye's speed and movement will negate Wlad's jab. The problem is that opponents enter the ring already beaten, psycologically, they let Wlad find his rhythm, have it all is own way, fight at the pace he wants to fight it. Hopefully Haye isn't going to make the same mistakes. Haye can outwork Wlad, or he could knock him out, capable of both, take your pick.

 

Haye's best bet is to just go for it in the first round. He won't but it's really his best chance which isnt much.

Look...this style matchup favors wlad. Haye is counter-puncher and will not pressure wlad and will only look to counter. But if you can't put consistent pressure on this Wlad, you have virtually have zero chance because you let Wlad dicate range and tempo.

Wlad has the length, speed, jab to keep distance against Haye and force him to lunge in with his wild power shots and become off balance. Then, Wlad sets and drops a jab, right cross or left hook to end matters.

Or Wlad can dominate with his left hand and beat up Haye from distance if he wants too...I know the Brits back Haye 100% but as some point, reality needs to be considered.

I even think Wlad has a clear power edge. Haye has very good power but Wlad has one-punch KO power and can put Haye to sleep with one punch from either hand. Look what he did to chagaev and chambers- top hws never hurt or down before and wlad stopped both.

I hope Haye proves me wrong but I don't think he's got the bottle for this.

 

Of course he didn't get tired! Haye threw 11.9 punches a round! LOL. Anyone can box for 12 rounds throwing a total of 143 punches!

I think he can - he's definitely got the best chance of all the current Heavyweights.

Put simply, Haye's combination of speed and power make him a genuine threat to anyone. He has the speed to land on Wlad and if he lands flush, he'll stop him. Can he get past the jab and land something big before Wlad does? I don't know.

 

Haye has a chance for sure. Just look at what Sanders did, although from a left stance. Haye has speed and power, if he uses it like Sanders did then he certainly has a chance. Either Haye blasts him within a few rounds or Wlad beats him up with jabs. The longer the fight goes the worse it gets for Haye.

 

Being Klitschko fan need to say yes he can. I would give him 10% to beat Wlad, 5% to beat Vitaly.

 

His hand was ****ed up and I never said he woudl win a decision against Wlad by boxing.

Ibriganov also BOXED Wlad, lost, but he managed to survive in one of the worst fights in history.

I know Wlad is your hero, but a guy like Wlad has a lot of weaknesses and it starts with his size.

He has to be incredibly judicious with his punches because he has a lot of weight to throw around which requires a lot of energy to utilize in order to do so.

So if Wlad starts missing against Haye, which he will on several occasions, he will begin to get lethargic, clumsy, and in position for Haye to respond with sharp, and powerful counterpunches.

Yes, Wlad could knock Haye out because Haye sometimes doesn't put enough effort into his defense, but when he's on point, he has all the tools necessary to take Wlad out.

And Wlad isn't agile or fast enough, nor is his defense good enough, (which is basically just stepping back, and being tall), to avoid Haye's punches if Wlad misses.

 

You confuse speed on the offense with speedy defense. Haye has fast hands and can hit lightning-like combinations. But his defense and ability to evade punches is below average in my opinion.

Haye took punches from lesser guys like Mormeck, Fragomeni, Mock, Thompson and Barrett. Punches that he should have never taken. He should have dodged and slipped those punches but he was unable to. And now people say an accomplished boxer like Wlad with a physical advantage will find it impossible to land on him? Please. Let's stay realistic.

Haye can win this but he will get hit in the process.

 

I think Haye can beat Wlad. Everyone says if Wlad hits Haye etc, but Haye is also a massive puncher, and Wlad dosent like to take chances early when Haye does. I think Haye scores an early KO.

 

Wlad today is twice the fighter than when he fought Sanders SEVEN years ago. To think the Sanders fight says anything about how well Haye will do is asinine. Haye has one chance and one chance only: throw as many bombs as he can early and pray one of them lands flush. After that, Wlad will beat him to a pulp with the jab and right hand. Haye's 15 minutes of fame will be over then.

 

Haye took punches from quick, small, crusierweights.

Wlad isn't quick, isn't small, isn't a crusierweight.

Haye's approach against world class HW's like Wlad isn't going to be the same as it was against CW's or little, low-class, guys like Monte Barrett.

This is why I think tactics are so important. He can evade Wlad, Haye has quick feet, showed excellent movement against Valuev, and could certainly get on his bike, work from outside, drag a lumbering Wlad around the ring and earn a boring and close 12 round decision.

Or..

He can get in Wlad's face early, really go aggressive and then we'll see an exciting fight that will be determined on whose dodgy chin holds out the longest.

 

Ibragimov - Klitschko wasn't that bad. It was much better than Haye Valuev.

 

Haye could beat Wlad. Wlad is not unbeatable. The real questions are:1. will Haye take a breather from talking and sign to fight and actually show up this time? And, 2. Once in the ring will Haye take a chance to win ?
