At first I thought, na, not going to happen. Mayweather is just too good, Mosley is too past-prime and has stamina issues.

But I'm thinking now that Mosley's speed, his flurries of combination punching, could really pay off in the first half of the fight.

Mayweather landing his single shots from outside, on the counter, sure he'll be more accurate, but Mosley will land the greater number of shots, because that's his strength, that's how he operates.

So if Mosley can build up a lead in the first half of the fight by really fighting at a fast pace, being aggressive, busy as hell, throwing and throwing and throwing - I think he can unsettle Mayweather, and maybe hang on for the decision as Shane fades in the later rounds and Mayweather takes control.

    Thoughts?

(Seriously, Mayweather's single shots really going to be enough to get the decision against a guy as quick and busy as Mosley?)

Unless hes shot to pieces he should be able to knock Mayweather out easily.

I don't like my pick. I'm not comfortable with it. It doesn't make sense on the surface. Even prime for prime Mayweather's a much better fighter, IMO. But I can't shake the feeling that Mosley will win. Mayweather's lack of consistent combination punching is a worry.

Not against a guy he can control with his jab and movement it won't be.

Mayweather would run all day if he had to, he is quicker than Mosley and will counter him when he's not running. If anything Mayweather will frustrate Mosley, not the other way around IMO.

Already coming up with excuses huh? If PBF wins Shane is shot if he beats PBF the PBF is a fraud. Like I said form the jump PBF can't win with a irrational hater like you. You would never give him any credit regardless.

Whenever I think about this fight in my head, I think Mosley can win it.

Whenever I watch Mosley vs Cotto, I feel certain Mosley cannot win it.

Will be rooting for Mosley, but I'm pretty sure FMJ will go all "Machida" on Sugar Shane.

    He will be...

    ..elusive.

It's gonna be like a blindfolded kid trying to hit an agile, cat quick pinata.

No he probably will not beat Mayweather. I won't be too surprised if Mayweather dominates Mosley to be honest.
