I ask because I remember Booth saying straight after the fight that he wasn't hurt as much as it looked. They have both talked it up since but I have my doubts. It looked like a left hook to the neck that pushed him off balance more than anything else. I'm a big Haye fan but I also have my doubts about the guy. His biggest strength is his adaptability but if he doesn't have the power he could be in trouble in this division. Thoughts people?
He will have the power in this division, I'd say he probably punches in the heavyweight division harder than he did at cruiserweight. Also I bet hes got the most one punch power in the division.
It looked like he hit him with the side of the glove, but it just proves how much power David Haye has he got when he doesnt have to hit them properly and he gets them in that state. If the same punch lands on Wladmir, its safe to say he wont be getting back up and there will be no boogeying going on lol.
he was defo rocked, its doen to where he hit him, anyone where else on the head and that thick skull wont budge, but he clocked him right under the chin on his neck no bear like protection
Sorry mate im a Wlad fan. But Haye does hit hard that is an obvious fact, im going to reserve judgement on how he deals with Ruiz.:good
I dont think there can be much doubt that Haye has the power to hurt anyone including the Klits, the worry is what happens if they hit him clean on the chin.
the big stink bomb never shook his head after that shot, instead he done a little dance..he was hurt alright, and i would never doubt hayes power..he can more than handle himself in this division..:yep
I agree. This is why I ask the question really. It would give me nightmares if Ruiz drags him into a messy fight cause Haye can't stop him. Ruiz did look garbage on the undercard in his last fight though so let's see what David can do with him. Cheers
