I think Chambers can def. compete at Heavyweight, **** he might even have a shot at Vitali who isn't quite as fast or powerful as Wladimir. He'd def. have a shot at Haye because of his stellar defense.
People are being far too dramatic about this. There have been worse ko's in boxing, fact, hell I've seen worse ko's as a doorman. So he didn't breath for 20 seconds, that doesn't mean a thing. If you think differently I suggest you hold your breath for 20 seconds and get back to me, let me know how it's changed your life. If it had happened to him a few times, that's a different story
I think his confidence will take a major hit from this, but let him rebuild his self belief by starting back with a couple lower level opponents........... As for physically. He'll be thoroughly checked by doctors and won't be cleared to continue unless he is proven A-OK, medically. And yes, that was a brutal knockout, certainly. I venture to say you can't get any more brutal than than. How could you? He went ****ing stone cold LIMP, and fell, face first, and STAYED THERE, for cryin out loud! It don't get any more brutal than that.
Look at the replay of the knockdown, he barely connects. The punch(es) Tua Connected on Ruiz was far worse . Chambers will be alright
What an *******, it's people like you that make Wladimir less respectable, don't try to rub Wladimir's win on my face you ****ing *****. Wladimir was just too big, Chambers was flat footed, he could of done some things differently, but the size difference was huge.
And when people give Arreola credit despite not winning a single round against Vitali (sans maybe one), I think to myself that Chambers DID win some rounds against Wlad and made the big guy really work for those 12 rounds. He did better than anyone since Peter.
I agree, and personally Wlad is the only guy I'd comfortably pick over Chambers and right now no one is going to touch Wlad. I'd make Vitaly a slight favorite and Haye, Arreola, and Povetkin are all even type of fights. Against anyone else, Chambers is the favorite. He is a good heavyweight who has a speed/quickness advantage over most of his opponents. As long as Chambers stays away from Wlad he'll be a big factor in the division.
Anytime a guy falls face first and doesn't try to brace himself, you know he is out. But give the guy a chance, he's still young, and actually looked decent compared to most of Wlad's victims. Honestly, I believe Eddie would have a title at cruiserweight if he lost his spare tire, but he probably makes more money fighting the likes of Wladimir anyway.
:|:|:| wow.. relax man.. it was all in fun.. all I said was "what happened".. I listen to you talk smack about how eddie would beat wlad for 2 months and instead of you accepting that you lost... you rip me. your the ****ing ******* for not accepting the fact that you lost. whinny little *****
:|:|:|:|:| You're the one who's crying because you felt like I was disrespecting Wladimir, when all I was doing predicting Chambers to win. I never said Wlad sucks and I accept Wladimir's victory. And you are rubbing Wladimir's victory in my face you stupid *****, I just simply told you to **** off.
Rubbing it in your face would be: "Your boy got KO'd I told you wlad would win, you dont know ****" I didnt say anything other than "What happened".. I was just playing with you joking and you got all bent. whatever. You predict a winner and you predict wrong, you need to expect some crow eating.... grow up!
