there is no legit MWs cause its a weak ass division... Pavlik is the champion of possibly the weakest division in boxing... and you know he can't go up in weight cause he would get owned yet again...

 

Kelly is a very good fighter, but he has to step up. I know he has had personal problems, but please, no more ham-n-eggers. I would even be happy to see him destroy John Duddy or Chavez Jr, or Sylvester or the Black Superman.
Truthfully, Martinez and Williams are not legit MW's. They don't carry the power to hurt Kelly, and Kelly should be able to walk right through them.
HBO is another story. It's unfortunate when a cable company has as much power as them, but there are other ways to get fights. Kelly doesn't have to rely on them. He just does so because they provide him with the most money.

 

The MW division sucks, and it has for a long time, but I'm sure that AA would have fought Pavlik before he moved up. There aren't many opportunities now, but there were before, and things never got done. Maybe it was bad advice, but I don't know. I just want to see Kelly in competitive fights against legit 160lbers.

AA goes back to HBO. Post Bhop they disowned Kelly. There simply was not the money there to pay both fighters. Remember, HBO only offered up 2 mill TOTAL for Pavlik/Sturm.

 

Can't wait for this fight. I have Pavlik by KO 9 in a fairly close fight up until that point.
