First, let me admit that I am a mayweather hater. However I am a boxing fan which means that you have to appreciate his skill and talent. Anyway if these two actually fought, I think pac would win based on this. Remember Judah gave Floyd some early problems based on his speed and power, mainly hand speed. Also Castillo gave him problems with pressure and work rate even though he had no footwork. Think, pac has faster and more powerful hands than Judah, a work rate better than Castillo but pac has way faster and better footwork. Can you see pac bouncing in and out nonstop with 4 and 5 punch flurries constantly dipping and circling to the right to set up the next flurry? Floyd is a defensive genius but I see him doing a lot of reacting and constantly ad******g. And I know Floyd fans will say that Floyd will catch and ko him with that one well timed shot. But remember cotto and clottey dropped some bombs and seemed not to faze pac. Just my opinion what is your UNBIASED opinion?

true..i think pac will win by decision..he wont hit mayweather much but he will outwork and pressure him and put him in defense mode most of the time..

Manny with out his STEROIDS wont be able to do ****!

I hate Floyd too but Manny is being exposed as a cheater and there is nothing I hate more than a cheater.

When I see stupid **** like this coming from Pac Fans, it just makes me more suspicious.

Like Malignaggi said. You work harder than everyone else?
Like the rest of the top fighters don't work hard?

I hear what you are saying about the southpaws that have caused Floyd trouble but he adjusted and he won.

The Castillo fight, it's well documented that Floyd was fighting with and injured shoulder. Yes he should have lost but there are plenty who feel Manny lost twice against JMM.

All Manny has to do is AGREE to random drug testing. If Manny does not agree, then guess what? He is already guilty in the eyes of the public.

It's a fight that we will have to see. All the prognoses and pre-fight picks don't amount to anything if they are wrong, and it cuts both ways.

Floyd is an extremely smart person. You think it's sheer coincidence that he accuses the only fighter ranked higher than him of being on steroids?

Well if we want to use prior opponents who gave them trouble as reasoning for why whoever the hell is going to win then we have to remember that Mayweather-Judah happened 4 years ago, Mayweather-Castillo past 8 years ago, and that it's only been 2 years since Marquez-pacquiao.

The difference here is that Mayweather actually ended up overcoming his troubles and convincingly won.

This is exactly how I think it will play out too. Some fans overestimate Floyds ability to avoid getting hit because he looks very good in the ring in his recent wins but Pac is game. Floyd will not be able to hurt Pac. Marquez said he did not feel Floyd punches except when he got the KD. Floyd will spend a lot of time backing up, laying on the ropes, and twisting his body and head like crazy to avoid Pac's punches. Some of them will get in for sure and Floyd will not have a strong counter to go along with.

You only said what Pac would do...how about what Floyd can do now.

Pac landing 4 to 5 punch combos all night not happening.

In and Out can be timed and Floyd timing is 2nd to none as well as his accuacy.

Ontop of that Floyd's footwork and speed are excellent as well...plus he will have a good reach advantage.....

Im not saying Pac cant win but the break down you just gave is far to simple for a fighter the likes of Floyd who extremely smart in the ring.

Look for Floyd to pot shot....lunging left hook...big str8 rights...will keep Pac off balance and guessing...as well as thinking before he pulls his own trigger as well. Floyd can be aggressive thats what people fail to realize....it doesnt mean exchanges...but he can stalk and cut off the ring...see Judah fight.

He also fights excellent in the pocket....see Hatton, Corley, Ndou fight.......

Floyd is not a boxer who your going to just win by doing what you always have done.

Dude, just from Diaz to cotto pac looks like he gained 10 years experience. And I'll say cotto is better than Diaz. Speaking of recent performances, if you think Floyd will get away doing that crap to pac like he did Marquez, you are sadly mistaken.

As far as pure boxing skill, PBF has Pac beat hands down, but I still think Pac would win. Why? Check out the De La Hoya fight. Had De La Hoya been faster, had more heart, and most importantly - NOT FADED DOWN THE STRETCH - he probably would have won. Those 3 things are something Pac would bring to the table in spades against Floyd. I envision Pacquiao winning a decision based on pure aggression, for the most part...forcing Floyd to be overly defensive and not offensive enough.

Did I ever say that? No, it was you who just did.

Some "boxing" fans like to lie to themselves about how emmanuel pacman will just simply walk through everything Mayweather throws even though his head kept snapping back in his last two fights, and that Mayweather will let the pac get set to throw 1200 punches on his AZZ.

If pac is willing to sign **** I'd put Money on Mayweather by KO. Better reasons to bet on Mayweather in this one than manny.

Quick question....in all of Floyd's fights where fighters have some success....is it them just stopping what they are having success with or is it something that maybe FLoyd does?

I think we all know no one beats pac in a firefight. Floyd will not be aggressive against such an aggressive fighter. And accurate or not, it's hard to beat a fast hard hitting fighter who can throw 100 punches per round by throwing 30-40 punches per round.

Im a huge, HUGE, Mayweather fan, but unbiased, you are absolutely right. I really didnt like the way Mayweather looked against Oscar, it was probably his worst performance in years to be honest. Had Oscar not tired out, he would have given Mayweather a lot of hell down the stretch, possibly beating him.

As to the original poster, I also see a lot of that playing out...simply said, Pac's offensive output may just be enough to win him the fight, even if he doesnt land cleanly, which I really doubt he will. Floyd will counter CLEAN as can be on him, but Manny's activity will be his biggest asset that night. I still have Mayweather in a razor thin decision.
