Its a shame about Oisins retirement....... Taught he had at least 1 or 2 more great fight left in him.....Would of loved to see how he would get on With Kevin O'Hara, Its probably the IABA wont let him box professional while he is working with them...... Ah well fair play to him and wish him all the best, He gave us a fair few good fights over the years, Especially from a guy who had no amatuer experience..
I wonder if ***ans disapointment at the Murray stopage had anything to do with his retirement.. He should be proud of what he achieved. Really gutsy fighter and a gent outside the ring
Found this on youtube [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g1aBmRuBbI0&feature=related[/ame] [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ep56GYH90Uw&feature=related[/ame] Andy needs to shave that beard of his.
thats gordon joyce he trains me :good hes put on a bit f weight since then lol.any of ye remember kieran boxing in the olympics for ireland?
------------------------------------------- Yes but not only that he appeared to be using the jab with a bit more snap there. I wonder if Gamacho is focusing on that. Anyone else think Lee was not using his jab properly enough in last few fights! I won't get hopes up based on a short reel like that but would be great if they got working on head movement and jabbing more!
yeah his jabs gone to **** the past few fights all right but his biggest problem still is fighting inside thats the main thing gamacho should be focousin on imo
he probably had complaints from our northern brethren to stop referring to the Republic of Ireland as Ireland - and was making a point. However, with boxing as with rugby and cricket the sport is on an All-Ireland basis - so everyone was wrong except me!!!
Three things andy needs to improve and he will be almost unstoppable 1: Learn to clinch properly none of that overhand klitscho **** it doesnt work well with fast middleweights 2: learn to fight on the inside he needs basic inside skills just to get him by and if he ever gets a fight with a guy lik kelly Pavlik who is also 6'2 he reach advantage will have very little effect. 3: Learn to move his head just basic simple movement and he will go through fights against shorter guys and he wont even get hit! wait one more thing he needs to create angles against Belghecham he attacked and defended in straight lines if he had used angles in attack against Belghecham he would have broke down his tight guard like Macklin did against Pintos in his last fight. When he comes under attack he takes a big step STRAIGHT backwards and ends up on the ropes and cornered a simple step to the side will save him trouble.
lol yeah i edited my post cos i came to that conclusion after i pressed sumbit i still think he's wrong though lol
