Sorry, but EM, MAB weren't prime, and Dlh who was 35 years old when Pac fought him at ww wasn't prime so those wins don't count. The title should've read, who beat the most past prime champions, and PAc would have Duran beat by a mile!:good:lol: Dlh, MAB or EM are not atg's, they are great.

Pac turds want so badly for Manny to be an ATG. Duran was great from day one. He beat greats early in his career, in the middle of his career, in twilight of his career and even when he should have been a has been he won big fights. The level of opposition that Duran fought was better than Manny's and in most cases Duran won when he was over the hill not vice versa like Manny. Please for the sake of decency. Stop sucking the Manny pipe.

Duran nuthuggers are hilarious... they're like the guys who get pissed at YOU when you tell them their girlfriends are ****ing somebody else. The dream is better than the reality for them, and they won't let it go for any reason.

The simple fact that Manny is talked about this way while he is still in the productive years of his career is a sure sign that his legend is going to grow exponentially after his retirement, and he will far exceed Duran historically. SRL wasn't talked about this way during his active career until he came back from retirement to beat Hagler.

Marquez above Benitez? Sorry, but I don't see it.

Here's a thought. Is a past-his-prime Morales (who never won another fight) a better win than a young pre-prime Marcel, who'd later go on to beat Arguello, lose a robbery to Shibata, Serrano, and beat Antonio Gomez multiple times? Or is it better than a prime Ken Buchanan? The same question/questions can apply to Oscar. DLH was great, but he wasn't close to a great fighter in December 2008.

I give Pacquiao massive credit for beating a prime MAB tho. That was an awesome win. He dominated him from start to finish. But I don't see how the hell somebody could call Duran's win over SRL a fluke. It wasn't. It was a brilliant display. Call those arguing Duran hatever you'd like, but understand by writing off Duran-SRL 1, you're not exactly making yourself look unbiased .

I'm not writing it off, I'm saying don't make ONE FIGHT the basis for a boxer's entire career and historical standing, which Duran fans do. Is Buster Douglas greater than Mike Tyson?

Duran has ONE great victory. ONE. ONE!

and it was avenged twice, once in a ho-hum domination and once in a fashion which shamed (or should have shamed) Duran greatly.

Duran with one great victory? Buchanan was a bum. De Jesus a journeyman. Barkley wasn't twice the size of a 38 year old Duran either.

Get this joker out of here.

When Manny turns 38 we'll throw him in a time machine against Iran Barkley and see what happens.

I thought I had saw everything...but Bernie actually compared Duran to Buster Douglas. I might consider going to another forum if this **** keeps up.
